Its hard to believe a black man who takes that position cares about the black community, or knows the history of his people in the country. I suppose it shouldn't surprise me to see such a thing, but this guy has access to all the resources be could want to get on the right side of history.
At the very least, he certainly doesn't know the history of the black community as he kept referring to Lewis as a senator.
I'll be interested in his opinion after he spends 6 months in solitary.
Jails in Texas are fighting to be allowed to keep prisoners in 100+ degrees conditions without air conditioning, these guys like the idea of torturing prisoners.
Republican politicians aren't big on believing what they say. Remarkable how they show up everyday on the news with the same talking points for decades now, just happen to agree with the legislation handed to them by ALEC or The Heritage Foundation.
Their job is to make the elitist agenda sound like Christian libertarianism, which isn't hard with a population who aren't taught critical thinking in school.

A school employee who fails to remove the book within 30 days of the request "shall be dismissed or not reemployed."
