I think that Rangnick has decided that it’s too risky to implement his philosophy halfway through the season. After the Palace game,we haven’t seen the players even attempt to press from the front. So this makes me believe that the manager feels that this is not the time to implement radical change.Changing systems, style of play and training methods might lead to loads of injuries and problems in the winter months…So I guess the manager has decided to stick to status quo…

Yeah but I don't think Ragnick's gonna get the job full term especially with how things are going. Ole had an insane run when he arrived.
That is true. Let's wait and see how things develop.

Do you think it is really true that up to 17 players are not happy with Rangrick as the manager & are willing to "down tools", so to speak?

The players are embarrassing themselves if these reports are true

It was 11 players and mainly the fringe players if reports are to be believed

Players standing with the ball like that Travolta meme.

The one thing I can sympathise with the players with is having Armas lead training. I'm probably being harsh but that guy looks completely out of his depth.

How do you know? Are you on the training pitch with them? Who's doing what? Is Pogba staying? What's Ronaldo like on the training ground?

Love how the CAF makes long sweeping statements like this. Armas has been there for what a week, 2 weeks at best? How on earth does he look out of his depth?

The famous CAF favourite line (despite knowing nothing about the inner workings of a professional football club, hence not knowing what the depth is let a lone what being out of ones depth would actually mean) "Out of his depth"

Classic no one has a clue.

Even the detailed attacking sounds laughable

I'm sure new coaches don't come in and try and cover all elements at once. From player interviews etc it's usually one or two elements to solidify and then move on to the next and build out.

Given sustained pressing and winning the ball back is core to RR's game plan what the hell did they expect would be the first focus?

Are you both broken? I caveated "that he LOOKS to have no clue".

The basis of this is the fact that he's a monumental failure as a manager in MLS and every interview I've seen of him (and I've seen a few), he doesn't come across competent. Next time you want to make a jibe try to make it an accurate one - I said I'm probably being harsh and I even said this is how it appears. 90% of the club workings is going to be based on assumptions - no one is working at the football club on the caf.

I'm backing Rangnick 100% in this player v manager debate. The same players who cannot pass a football without over or underhitting it don't deserve blind support. Until we get a proper midfield we'll always get dominated by the likes of Moutinho and Neves who are technically proficient and can receive, turn and pass the ball within 2 seconds. Doesn't matter who is in charge.

It's not to say Rangnick hasn't made mistakes though. Shouldn't have taken off Greenwood, needs to balance game time for Ronaldo, Cavani and Matic according to their age and needs to find a formation that has Sancho, Greenwood and Bruno playing together. Those three are our best creators and we need to overload on creativity up front when we have none in midfield.

I find it pathetic from the media and their 'sources at the club' to label Rangnick's methods as unsuitable when had Bruno's effort gone in or Sancho/Cavani had passed the ball, we could've won and it would be all sunshine and rainbows. Feels like they had the headlines prepared just in case.

Imagine player telling manager about what should be coached first... especially when the new manager is only in a job for 1 month.

We paid these guy the best wages in football, the least they can do is at least try.

Honestly if Ralf drop all of them and play the youth I am happy even if we missed out Europe.

Why didn't they create all this fuss before Ole was sacked? Why now? DVB, I understand but the rest have no leg to stand on. Can Lingard play in midfield?

Im hoping that its all expected and part of the process. We knew before Ralf got there there is a cancer running through the club. It was there for Ole and Mourinho said it when he was there. Keane has also said it for years. Maybe we need to go through the pain while Ralf puts a few arseholes in their place. I cant believe for a second that the board is controlling him or taking the players side. If that was the case he would walk out. Lets just pray this is the case. If Ralf cant sort it I hope walks out straight to the press and tells it how it is and names names.

What an absolute mess. Ragnick is maybe not that great but certainly isn't bad enough for these divas to be constantly leaking stuff.
So much for Ole leaving the club in a better position.

What I find interesting is players talking about drop in standards, I think Ralf needs to show them some of the passing and defending from these so called "high profile players"

Lingard got a change in the Young Boys game and blew it, so I a not sure why anyone would feel he is deserving of a chance.

As for the rest of them, I don't know what player deserves a chance, they are all crap.

Lingard doesn't have a contract beyond the summer, he's lucky he isn't playing with the Under 19's.

Well the fans are getting sick to death of the players being unable to pass and control a football. Someone on Reddit said something I found quite funny, along the lines of "our players have a 100% pass completion when passing the blame".

Lingard can get to feck as well, he's going in summer. Rashford's never had the same determination since Lingard took him under his wing.

Its clear Lingard is the one leaking it. We should just terminate his contract or fine him heavily. If it is someone else, even if it is Starboy Rashford, should be fined heavily

Imagine having the likes of Ronaldo, Varane and Cavani around the dressing room and some winery bitches who haven’t won a thing in their career are kicking up a fuss.

RR should name them and drop them, seriously finish the season out with some of the u23’s promoted. I’d love to see him go public just to see the whinging cnuts shit their pants.

By the standards of our fans on here finishing 2nd last season and losing a final was considered a failure worthy of being sacked.

Anyway, I don’t really agree that Klopp was shit or whatever. Just that progress isn’t always easy to judge and certainly league positions, semi finals and finals don’t necessarily prove anything.

Under Ole, we did ok on paper but it wasn’t particularly convincing that we were moving forward. It was simply too up and down. I think most could see what Klopp was trying to achieve.
Is this for real? Are you putting reaching EL final on the same level of reaching a CL final?

These leaks are the most coordinated and organised attack we've seen from this bunch of turds for years.

The reality it’s probably one player who’s disgruntled that he wasn’t allowed a move last summer and was promised he’d get game time this season and hasn’t, now he’s leaving at the end of the season and is smashing up the place on the way out. It’s petulance of the highest order
