So there are 1500 different launch chambers?
No.

A lot of these actually would be ICBMs and SCBMs that can throw tens if not hundreds of missiles. For example, UK has subs that carry 4 trident rockets, each of which 'disintegrates' into 12 independent rockets. So one ship can hit 60 different targets.

What this doesn't mention is that the Russian's are increasingly demoralized, while the Ukrainians are increasingly energized. This will massively factor into the equation going forward.
Got a Medvedev vs Nadal feeling about it.

While I agree with that I also think it's possible Putin isn't told that part.

If they have already deployed 2/3 of their forces with nothing to show for it then it doesn’t look like they are really capable of doing anything substantial there, unless they resort to inhuman methods.

The green buck now costs around 150 rubles. Wake up and smell some coffee, ya bastard. From now on, it will only get worse.

I am afraid that Putin will need to go to nukes cause if his army continues like this, in a week Ukraine would be in Moscow.

4000+ casualties in 4 days, and tens of aircraft and helicopters destroyed. Russia was supposed to get air supremacy within 12 hours, but their aircraft are dropping like rocks. With the new weapons arriving in Ukraine, this is gonna get worse and worse for Russia, unless they start targeting the civilians in mass.

Yes, because much like was the case with Trump, those around him are scared to tell him anything that runs contrary to what he wants to hear.

I wonder when we'll get some info on the talks content. I expect nothing and I'll still probably be disappointed

Nukes on Ukraine would be unthinkable. He wants to take over the country, not destroy it, and without knowing the details I'm guessing the fallout could easily reach both Russia and Belarus.

Tactical nuke on Kiev?

Withdraw troops a bit and encircle then boom... no more zelinsky / government... not sure what it would do to Ukrainian moral but certainly would not be good

Then offer peace to whichever army general is given the role based on Russia keeping the coast and East of the river?

Just add Kiev to the Chernoble exclusion zone

His much loved people of Luhansk and Donetsk will be suffering from cancer for the rest of their lives. Not that he cares.

if their invasion has taught me anything about russia’s military capability and execution i can only imagine that they’re probably all daisy chained together by a fuse wire and putin lights the end of it with a sparkler and they set themselves off one by one with all the pomp and circumstance of a damp bonfire night.
Feeling an urge to finally watch Dr. Strangelove.

So if Russia retreats, are Ukraine going on offensive to take back Donbass, Lugansk and Crimea? That's a pretext for some desperate measures.

It's certainly a move I would make in Civilization 5, but he would be signing his own death warrant.

why would he enter a real non-nuclear hot war then? It's obvious he'd lose that one. Which is why he wouldn't.
Exactly, he is not the biggest in the class and it suits him to pretend he is the craziest in the class! Make people think he would go nuclear but he won’t. He won’t take on NATO either.

IMO he has calculated that NATO won’t fight directly in Ukraine and he is happy to swap sanctions for UKraine. He either ends up with Ukraine with Russian puppet government or if as I suspect, Ukraine offer too much resistance and he doesn’t fancy ten years of guerrilla war, he will gonto the negotiating table and get what he can, promises from NATO and Ukraine split into two opposing states.
