He can go to play for Nobodies FC along with Greenwood.
He would probably get injured trying to tie his shoelaces at Nobodies FC in his debut. Then blaming and telling the immgrant worker for feck off home for failing to lay the red carpet properly.

This actually does not surprise me. There were stories last month about Tuchel asking for him and other stories about Werner, Pulisic and Ziyech wanting to leave. I think we could see reconstruction of Chelsea's attack and Dembele could be a part of that.

Is Abramovich trying to pioneer sport medicine?

Dembele and Pulisic are basically the same player. The rare occasions they’re in top form and fit they are the perfect aggressive, direct wingers you want that can score amazing goals. But they are also both seemingly out injured more than they play.

A transfer this window would be totally nonsensical. On a free in the summer IF one or two of our wide players leaves I can see.

Considering we have made no progress with Pulisic, I doubt it. I guess the hope is he magically gets over his injury problems and turns into a force of nature. I don't know.

Chelsea desperately needs some flair, they are such a boring side to watch. Very good side, incredibly boring for the common viewer. Perhaps Dembele can fix that some how..

I don't think it's as big a gamble as some are making out. He's played very well for Barca this season. Last season he managed 40+ games. I'd take the gamble that he'll miss 10-15 games a season because when he's fit he's seriously good.

I feel like we could have done with him for 6 months at least. Hope sanchy finds some form.

i do wish we were in for him. He’s a player of immense talent and we need to replace the one that will soon be leaving our squad. Yes he has crisps for hamstrings but as others have said, he’s actually kept himself relatively fit this season and he’s still young so there’s definitely at least a chance that similarly to Giggs, he’ll be able to get over his issues with age and a proper training plan.

Agreed for Chelsea this isn't too much of a gamble. For us and the position we are in at the moment it would be more trouble than it's worth.

Chelsea make sense, they've seriously lacked firepower in recent months.
We'd have to let at least one player go first though and that's not going to happen this window. I could imagine Chelsea agreeing to a pre-contract ahead of the summer, provided his wage demands aren't too crazy.

i bet they would accept a 0 bid if necessary, which would be the same. we can try to get some money but a 0 offer would be accepted, 100%.
It has now been reported by multiple sources (Sky Sports, Mundo Deportivo, Sport) that Dembele to PSG fell through because Barcelona wanted 20 million euros. They were not, in fact, willing to let him go on a free.

Media is reporting today that Dembele has been offered to be a free agent. So he can leave for free if he wants.
Unless you only trust media when they say what you want them to say.

Besides, nobody believes that a club is asking 20M for a guy that is not going to play and finishes his contract in 6 months.

Came on yesterday and got a goal and 2 assists in 20 minutes.

He's injury prone but whenever I watch highlights of Barca, his ability to beat players with both feet and assist with both feet is pretty special to me. Massive risk obviously but I think there's a case there of getting him on a free to be our Nani type player on the RW. I think SAF would've loved a flair player like him.

Not least because it'd free up our transfer budget for the midfield. Get a DM in and potentially even a ball playing CM, rotate Rashford and Martial at CF and I think we'd finally have a technical, fast and dynamic team for the first time since SAF left.

Yeah, agreed that he's talented but wants massive, massive wages, is injury prone and has a shitty attitude (apparently) as well.

I'd steer clear, but if Tuchel could get him committed and back to his best, he'd be immense for them.

I think the attitude thing is overblown. He has had a massive issue with professionalism when it comes to time management and showing up to training on time, but I don't think he has a bad attitude and Xavi's actually been very complimentary of him and his work ethic in training. He has a suspect past, the way he forced his way out of Dortmund was definitely a case of bad attitude, but I think he's grown since then and Tuchel is a massive fan of his, considers him one of the best talents he's ever managed so I have no doubts he'll go for him. People grow up and become more mature, let's hope that's what's happening with him.

It's just a massive gamble because of his health, and he is a player that can frustrate by doing the impossible in one sequence but then messing up the simple pass in the end. He hasn't really shown much progress but he was so devastating already at 19 years old that even if he stayed at that level his whole career, he'd still be a great player for any side but the most important thing is to be available, and he simply isn't enough.
