So Peter Bosz is having a difficult season so far with Lyon, but he now has three wins in a row. The club mentoned February would be an important month to move towards the CL spots, where they face some direct competitors.

February 1st - Marseile Home | 2-1 WIN
February 5th - Monaco Away |
February 12th - Nice Home |
February 19th - Lens Away |
February 26th - Lille Home |

I reckon he cant afford to lose any of these matches and win about three of them, meaning at least 11 points. He already won the first against Marseille, very important. If he gets through this series in a good manner they play Rennes at home in the beginning at March, another competitor for CL places.
February 1st - Marseile Home | 2-1 WIN
February 5th - Monaco Away | 2-0 LOSS
February 12th - Nice Home |
February 19th - Lens Away |
February 26th - Lille Home |

Pressure is on after this loss...

I see Angel is on the bench for Lille in this PSG match.

Anyone know if he gets a look in generally for them or has he become a squad player?

Haha. I read that too quick. You meant the other former United Angel. He’s always been a squad player if I’m not mistaken. Probably started a few when they had many injuries/covid cases.

PSG 3-1 up at Lille thanks to three howlers by their defenders and keeper. Danilo, Kimpembe and Messi with the goals.

Douath for Saint-Etienne looks a good talent, getting a lot more minutes under Dupraz. Him and Camara provide a solid and energetic midfield pairing.

Absolutely fecking huge win for Saint-Etienne today, gives them a massive chance of staying up. Need Marseille to batter Metz and pretty much a perfect day of results.

3-0 Nantes at half time and it could've easily been 5. They've been great going forward and PSG look all over the shop.

Nantes goalie having the game of his life. But the frontline of Paris are really poor defensively. After every lost ball, defenders have to produce a miracle to prevent Nantes creating a chance.

If only there was another consistent French team. The same happened during Lyon’s dominance, they lacked another consistent contender

More likely its just PSG not caring about this game at all, won against RM, won on aggregate against City in the group stages.

They are different in the UCL.

Disappointing draw I think.. Really needs a home win against Lillle next week... 10 points from these fixtured in that case would not be awful, but it's not enough yet to really near the top 3 which is required for Champions League.. If Peter Bosz keeps the seat after this he needs to really put down a series going into March, which should be do-able as the fixtured will get easier on paper and Ndombele/Faivre will have integrated more into the team..

So you were desperately trying to find this thread the same time as me.
love to see PSG lose.

really disappointed bordeaux couldn’t hang on to win. A man and a goal up, and scoring a stupid own goal (one defender heading clear/blocking a shot, it hits the back of the head of another defender and goes in). Couldn’t use the man advantage in the second half-there was one moment late in the first half where they had the ball on the left and a runner through the middle onside and wide open with 35 yards of open pitch. Pass wasn’t played, I shouted at the tv and my fiancée ran in thinking the dog had shit on the carpet:lol:

a draw not a bad result in the grand scheme of things but it’s two points dropped

OMG, the goal disallowed by VAR that Lyon scored, fecking crazy stuff. I'm lost for words. The level of sheer incompetence is fecking scary
Couldn't believe that. The goalkeeper just miskicked the ball. To look at a screen and still not see that.

It just shows that referees are clueless when it comes to football. They really have to up their training and even play themselves football because that was a joke. I wonder what is the process in his mind that explain the foul there. Idiot...
The VAR idiots are very dishonest too, the way they edit the footage is very biased. How an entire team couldn't conclude that there was no foul there

I was looking at the ref, he didn't look very confident about the decision he had just made. His face said a lot.

I dont understand why the VAR cnuts only show one angle of the incident for each VAR situation. The ref needs to have a full picture so as many angles as needed. It's like they're trying to influence his decision.

Is that just in France, thought in UK they give you all angles.

I can't say they only 1 angle in France for each VAR situation but the boss of pro referees in France said that the goal should have stood and the referee was induced in error because of that unique angle showed to him.

Like we talked about, showing certain angles can really influence the outcome of a decision, the VAR referee stopped being objective in that situation. Truly unprofessionnal

PSG fans are heavily booing Messi and Neymar.
