Exactly this. Klopp lost many finals with Dortmund and lost CL final with Liverpool, pep lost a CL final, does that mean he’s a bad manager… some people man!
Also, Sir Alex in 26 seasons only won 5 FA Cups, 4 League Cups and 2 Champions League's. That means in the remaining 15 seasons he won none of the cup tournaments. No one wins every tournament.

I know ye but just because we’re getting ten Hag and he lost a final a lot of the finals are going mad saying he’s a bottler and all this. No pleasing some people.

“When the pressures on, and it will be on every game at Manchester United let me tell ya, can this guy get it done? He’s bottled the Champions League against a dreadful Benfica team and he’s thrown away the cup final after benching the best striker in Europe at the time. I just don’t see it going well Jeff”

Anyone that has doubts after yesterday's game needs to give their head a wobble.

It's a final, anything can happen, would people have been happy if he'd won yesterday yet somehow went onto lose the league? Klopp lost six finals in a row between 2013 and 2018. Give me a team that has the consistency to win the league over the odd cup triumph anyday of the week.

Ten Hag will still be coming in as a serial winner.
100%…. People lose there head when there’s no need to. I didn’t watch the game but I believe psv only won because of Ajax mistakes which makes it even more unlucky. Ten Hag will still go on to win the league this season and then come to us as a champion and hungry for more success.

This will ineviatbly trigger an avalanche of reactions against knee jerk stupidity, while it’s all just examples of how many people will make the same unoriginal joke and post it.
Unoriginal or not it’s fecking hilarious…

The internet is full of loads of people making the same shitty jokes. No need to scour it and quote people ffs:lol:

I was disappointed he didn’t win the final yesterday, but I’d like him to come to us with the momentum of a league title behind him. Hopefully the Ajax boys are stung enough to go on and win it.

A manager coming from the dutch league to Man utd should be so good his team should be untouchable, ETH would ultimately prove to be not good enough, the benfica result was the first sign and yesterday game totally confirms it. Once again we have made the wrong choice.

Let's hope he can turn our fortune around, we shouldn't solely judge him on yesterdays performance but on his overall time at Ajax, and that's how I hope we judge here when he arrives.

It's all random pissboiling at this point from click hunters. Stating the obvious, this is probably a done deal, and just not announced out of respect to Ajax ongoing season and title race given our good mutual relationship over the years.
Good to hear, hopefully we get the official confirmation soon.

Widely reported it will probably be this week. I think it's in everyones best interest to get it announced now so everyone can move on and each can focus on their respective finishes for the season

Yeah not announcing it might be more detrimental at this point considering how it overshadows their title race.

Based on my observation from several Ajax's high lighted & some comments from Ajax supporter, here's the weakness I see on ETH. 1)Concede a lot of goals from counter-attack. 2)Quite doesn't have PlanB if PlanA doesn't work. Let's see how he can improve this matter on his learning curve when joining Man United.

Erik ten Hag believes that Ajax has played against more than 11 players. What does he mean by that? "Sometimes there are forces and forces against it," he says. "I'm not talking about the arbitration."

We're getting an absolute nutter
Think it like us saying the opposition are playing with 12 men.

I reckon they're holding the announcement til after the Liverpool game, to try and lift the mood and interupt what could be an extremely negative news cycle at the time.

Bringing in ten Hag reminds me of the sort of players we would sign under Fergie.

Someone that's doing the business at a slightly lower level, ready to make the step up and become world class.

We’ve signed plenty of players of that description post-Fergie, and we also signed our fair share of superstars under him.

Yeap. No one ever heard of a Rio or Yorke or Cole or Rooney or that Keane when Fergie first signed them.
