What players you reckon he’ll bring from Ajax? He needs to, he needs to bring as much support as possible in this toxic changing room.

Not convinced many of those players are good enough for where we want to go. Gravenberch is the jewel in their crown but he's Bayern bound apparently.

Think it's a very dangerous idea just thinking we can take Ajax players and be totally fine. The standard of the Dutch league is nothing like the PL. I'm sure with a far bigger budget ETH will have eyes on better players.

We've seen with Donny that he's blatantly not that amazing. If he was he'd walk into our team already as our midfield is poverty yet Ole, Carrick and Ralf all thought differently.

that’s a good point. I have heard many rumours of Antony and timber but that’s about it.

Jurien Timber quoted as saying he'd rather join Man City (over Barcelona). I think at best we ar looking at a cup next year and maybe 4th, 5th or 6th. The league maybe 2-3 years away from now.
Whats the realistic team for next season at this stage. DDG, Dalot, Maguire, Varane, Shaw, Sancho, Mct, Fred, Garner, Fernandes, Greenwood? £350million i transfer fees I think. I#d watch that lot at least I think they'd run around a bit and whats the word I'm looking for - Try! We still may be shite but at least we'd see some effort.

Those are all involved for sure, whether they all are in the starting 11 +5 is questionable. We are definitely looking for some specialty players who are suitable for Ten Hag's way of play.

Klaiber, Labyad and Haller are a shoe-in. He takes them everywhere. Like Koeman did with Cuco Martina. It's the reason he failed at Barca really, he didn't bring Cuco!

On a more serious note, I think he'll try and bring Timber with him and perhaps Antony. Timber is a fantastic defensive talent so that would be a good thing. Antony is also talented, but a massive cheating diving Neymar level cnut, so that won't win you any sympathy awards.

God I hope United don't buy Antony.

I feel the passionate defenders are more odd.
Just as easy to take your own advice about not being bothered about someone than to feel the need to call them out.
It's easier to not care about something rather than to actively attack and criticize it. In that sense the ones who feel the need to attack people like Romano are the weird ones.

Was such a left side move by him. As before the big target man striker types haven't really been working within his formation ( Traore, Brobbey etc.) But he changed some personnel and his tactics a bit and found a way for them - although it's still a lot to the player be willing to adjust his play style also.

Harry Kane would be ultimate striker for Ten Hag's style of system to excel, by his ability to take other players into the attack with his style.

As Judas mentioned, it could be argued it's not a case of which ones are weird, but that they both are.

I'm just stating the situation of posters calling out posters who are calling out Romano.

I suppose it's a forum, so we can expect weird takes all over the place. Or opinions at least, which we can differ about. How strongly we differ to that opinion determines, to a degree, our need to speak out or critize the opposing opinion.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with Romano, I've been on a few Here We Go rides myself, but at the same time I don't see anything wrong with some folk not liking him and how he's gotten himself in tier 1 of football stories.

I don't know, just sounds a bit pot/kettle to me.

Anyoo, I do hope, regardless of source, that we get confirmation of the inevitable. Sooner rather than later.

There is an opportune time though, because when, not if, we get spanked tonight, they can announce it after or the following day to soften the beating we would have received.

thats my bet to come with him, Antony. He reminds me of ricarlison, the look, the style everything. Is that a lazy comparison?

This is an excellent watch and maybe realising McLaren wouldn't be so bad as he has a good relationship with Erik and knows how to go about things which are so detailed.
Yeah I should've given it an endorsement as well as posting it - I highly recommend giving it a watch if you have some spare time, it'll definitely leave you excited.

Mentioned him as a joke, Haller is average. I realize he had a freak CL season, but he is an Eredivisie level striker, not at all a premier league level striker, as shown by his time at West Ham.

Tricky Brazilian wingers, so yeah I guess they're a bit a like. Richarlison is a bit stronger I think, though I must stay I don't follow him closely at all. I can't stress enough how big a part the diving cnut aspect of Antony's game is though. I realize it irritates me a bit more since I support their opposition, but still.

I expected McLaren to say nice positive things about him, but he was very humble about their time together and sounded like he was attributing their success down to Erik.

He does sound like the type of manager we want/need. It might take a bit time for him/us to adapt but very encouraging. I’m expecting our season to be a big improvement on this but inconsistent, particularly towards the end when players get tired.

I watched a lot of the podcast and I was wondering what did he do as manager? ETH did everything, he pretty much says it.

I'd say Salah is the exception rather than the benchmark in that respect. Haller just doesn't have any attributes that make him a top player. He's not fast, he's not strong for a guy his size and he has ok technique, but is hardly Robin van Persie. His CL goals this season are a world class amount, but in the Eredivisie his record is merely fine, not outstanding. And let's face it, Afonso Alves once scored 7 goals in one game here.

He's a less handsome Graziano Pelle.

He's probably texting Ajax CEO now asking them if they're still interested in a new contract renewal.

Couldn't come in soon enough.

If he can actually coach press properly and get his "no bouncey passes" training exercises embedded in a few of these useless cnuts - a couple may even survive, otherwise I see him completely overhauling who starts.

I'm scared for him, i'd be scared for any manager coming in here; i'm sorry to be a prophet of doom but the structure of this club and the players that are here are appalling. You can read Ralf's earlier quotes today as very telling in the sense that United are lacking in just about every single thing that makes a club successful.

People including myself are hoping for a miracle.
