I'm guessing he might have been the one behind the Ted lasso comments then

I don't know what kind of relationship Lingard and Scholes have but if it's a close one then only Scholes is in the wrong. You don't go around repeating things that are said in confidence and also name your source.
Which other clubs will now be taking note as well. Maybe he means it needs a lick of paint.

Really makes you wonder what we brought Rangnick in for if he couldn't lift the dressing room

Right from the start there were rumours that he doesn't talk to anyone, and basically just keeps his head down even when getting his morning coffee.
Even then, player leaking to friend in the media, and said friend doing the laundry in public. Which is the bigger issue?

Surely we should be more annoyed it's happening than Lingard saying it?
Why would you be annoyed that humans don't get along with one another? It's a ratty thing to do when you spill the beans on what's going on behind closed doors.

Our players seem to hate each other which is a big problem.

The fact it's happening is a bigger issue than it being said in media.

Why's it happening? What is causing the discontent etc?

Anything else is just scapegoating and not getting to the root cause, which clearly exists.

It’s already a step forward for the club just by having Lingard and Pogba out the door in July. Just negative contributions all round.

At least, with Pogba, there was the promise of a good 45 every 5-6 games.

A) we don't need Lingard to say it to know.
B) it's said by a player who has fallen with the manager and is leaving so his opinion is biased.

It's not even leaking. If Scholes and Lingard are close then it's perfectly normal that he would talk to him or tell him the truth if asked in a casual conversation, the issue is that Scholes isn't supposed to share it with the world.

Scholes cant even do his punditry right. He threw Lingard under the bus without even criticizing him. Thats new. A casual chat turned deadly. United legend vs United youth player.

It's happening for years, even under Ole, Mourinho, LVG, Moyes. Always leak. Always unhappy about this and that.

I get what you mean but biased views aside it's a fact of life that people in employed positions will call out workplace issues when they don't fear the consequences. It doesn't mean there aren't problems or the person mentioning them is the root cause. It's down to the people who oversee the management to find a solution.

What does a dressing room being a disaster mean? Is it unclean and unkept?

Jesse is a part of that dressing room. Scholes comes off bit thick to be honest.

There were reports earlier on in the season that there are 2 groups of players which dont get along along one another.
So then you start thinking it is the English against the Portuguese speakers. With others stuck in the middle trying to keep the peace.

Cant wait to see the back of him. Really will be a new dawn with ETH with so many unprofessional players leaving.

Mouthy rat in being a mouthy rat shocker! Just feck off Jesse and never show your face at o.t again.
Who's the mouthy rat here though? I'm sure the dressing room is a bit of a disaster given this season, and he's told someone he knows. It's Scholes talking about it on TV..

Can't believe Scholes thought even for a second its a smart move to say this, let alone said it..

He's going more damage than all the ex Liverpool players, pundits put together

Always did think Scholes never doing interviews had more to do with Ferguson not letting him (cause he knew he'd say something stupid), more than Scholes not wanting to. His days as a pundit hasn't exactly changed my thoughts on that.

Not surprised, we have some children in the dressing room, especially the English players are absolutely spoilt. Scholes pretty thick as well, just like his tackles.
