This is just utter ballacks. Conte came in and changed a similarly under performing team who was accused of downing tools. We even beat them 3-0 away from home so they must have been bad.

Ralf has done a crap job. End of story.
Oh wow, I really don't have the time to explain how wrong you are you simply don't know what you're talking about. Ralf wasn't a manger, Ralf's reputation wasn't built on management, please do research before making comparisons between Ralf and Conte because its embarrassing.

How can you say that. We don't know how much influence he has had in the outgoings of some of the wasters we have had
I'm not excusing the players mate. They are shocking too but Ralf hasn't been good.

The little shit won't sign for United but he's happy to go to City.

How about the Leeds twat goes and fecks himself?
To be fair what player in their right mind would pick United over City right now given the choice? But yeah he is scum, him and his inbred family.

Comical really that theres no issue with Phillips going to City because they actually have no proper rivalries in football unlike us

These are similar posters who spoke down about Phillips, but because he's been linked to City (true or not), they are now angry at the player? Make up your mind or be rational.

Phillips is not better than Rodri, but will be a very capable squad player similar to what Ake is, especially if/when Leeds go down.

We have a big disadvantage when it comes to transfers in this country because every fecker and their family hates us.

City are quite happy to drop £50/60M on a squad player. If we spend that much, they have to start every week.

I don't want him and couldn't care less if he went to city. He's a complete average player.

A player of that amount should be at least part of the matchday squad and a fringe starting player/key player off the bench. With 5 subs in the PL next season, having quality players and not as big of a drop off is important, even more now.

A completely average player is McTominay. Phillips is a clear upgrade on McTominay as a central midfielder like a 6 or 8. If United were to somehow, example only, get a Kamara, Neves, and Phillips in, with Fred and possibly Garner, that's 5 well-rounded and complimentary central midfield players. Not including Bruno or VDB as they are more suited as forwarding thinking midfielders compared to the 5 aforementioned.

Why is everyone convinced Kamara is a clear upgrade? He’s way less hyped than Ndombele and Bakayoko were and look at how they did? French football isn’t a guarantee of quality.

Kamara is free and is an available defensive midfielder. United don't have a central defensive midfielder and considering other areas of need, which will need more transfer budget allocation, getting a player such as Kamara (whether it is him or not, but a good value for talent player of his ilk - defensive midfielder) would be a good signing.

I hope this is true. No matter how good he is, unless he's an absolute world class player I don't think we should push the boat out. Too many areas of the pitch in disrepair for us to splurge what's rumoured to be half or more than half our budget. Any other window, sure.

We should be looking at Fabian Ruiz instead then. Similar player and will be at least 20mil cheaper.
Not similar at all. I don’t know how you reached that conclusion. Serie a watcher and Fabian Ruiz is more closer to your McGinn type midfielder than de Jong.

He won’t be cheaper either. That’s not how Aurelio de Laurentiis operates. He would slap a price of 70-80m on him minimum.
