Yeah that's an intentional play imo. Good reffing there - assuming the foul was a foulBall was meant for Sterling but was deflected by german defender to Kane
That’s over 25%.14/50. Nearly 25% of his goals.
Was it deliberate?Ball was meant for Sterling but was deflected by german defender to Kane
It never was, that's whyI don't understand why that's not offside but the Benzema goal in the UCL final was.
yeah. probably ranks in their top 3 wins of all time.No shame in Germany drawing to a team that has won 3.5 World Cups.
I spotted that as wellDid Bellingham just throw up on the pitch?
how can the foul happen before the offside if you acknowledge a player is in an offside position?Always surprising how few know the rules for such things.
e.g. Kane wasn't offside because he didn't touch or attempt to touch the ball. Offside isn't applicable until he does. He was fouled before then.
If you think about it, it's not like you can go full carnage on a player just because he's offside and get away with it. Foul is a foul
He didn't attempt to touch the ball? What was the thing he was chasing after then?Always surprising how few know the rules for such things.

Tomori next either Maguire or Stones would make it a better pairing.Pick two of Tomori/Guehi/White and you have a better pairing than Maguire and Stones. Maybe Dunk too.
Yeah but if he doesn’t get there then is it offside? Maybe the foul means a new phase of play before Kane can be offside?Wasn't dangerous/violent play so offside would come first
He wasn't judged offside
It wasn’t. They just called that off to help Pool.I don't understand why that's not offside but the Benzema goal in the UCL final was.
Stems from the manager. Why the feck was Pickford time wasting? England looked the likelier winner with Grealish and Bowen coming off the wings. Very poor mentality.
Did Bellingham just throw up on the pitch?
Proper projectile thatI spotted that as well
I thought he was a particularly skillful spitter but that actually makes more sense...Did Bellingham just throw up on the pitch?
I'll say it again, just bring in the stop clock and have two 30 minutes halves. For the love of God, start booking goalies who take the piss with time wasting.
But he’s only in a position to be fouled because he’s offside. The offside position affects the defenders decisions cos they don’t know not to make a challenge. That rule is ridiculous.Always surprising how few know the rules for such things.

Isn't Werner Germany's top scorer under Flick?I dont't understand why Flick keeps persisting with Werner. Might as well play Julian Brandt, he at least gets it right sometimes..

To reiterate, a player isn't offside until he actually touches or attempts to touch the ball. Chasing after it isn't the same thing. Being in an offside position isn't an offence in the rules of the game.He didn't attempt to touch the ball? What was the thing he was chasing after then?
I think rather than that rule being the one they've used to give the penalty, it's more likely that they've deemed the touch from the Germany player as intentional thus Kane could never have been offside anyway.
To query again - do you believe that you can wipe a player out and get away with it just because they were in an offside position? It is not an offence to be in an offside position.
Commentator said Werner has 6 in 8 under FlickI dont't understand why Flick keeps persisting with Werner. Might as well play Julian Brandt, he at least gets it right sometimes..
Thinks he's playing for Everton still. Was doing it before half time too.Why the feck was Pickford time wasting? England looked the likelier winner with Grealish and Bowen coming off the wings. Very poor mentality.

No but I've seen it happen plenty of times tbf. Doesn't mean the ref can't penalise someone if they just blatantly hack someone with no attempt to play the ball because they know the guy if offside. To reiterate, a player isn't offside until he actually touches or attempts to touch the ball. Chasing after it isn't the same thing. Being in an offside position isn't an offence in the rules of the game.

(e.g. not yet 'offside', but in an offside position)
Fecking mount! If Grealish was player of the year he still wouldn't start for southgate. He was underwhelming at City but Grealish really should start. With Foden not being selected how do you not start Grealish?
He came on and was the best attacker on the pitch. England should have won.
