Some of these figures people have responded to me with are mind-blowing. Really makes you ponder how awfully we’ve allocated our money over recent years
If you were to total all the misspent salaries never mind actual transfers…….wow.

Most of it (how I see him) depends on if you believe he was or was not the leak in the team; if he was not, then a lot of good wishes should go to him; if he was, then he deserves less then a mention. I'm sure the club knows these things as they have their relationships in the media; we, we will probably never know for sure.

I believe he does love the club and, I do suspect he was the leak given the reaction of the media in some situations. He was a bad influence on Rashford imo and a mediocre player that did the most he could do to maximize his value (income) while being associated with a club he had no right to represent given his performances. For these reasons I both respect him and, I have 0 attachment to the guy. Just another example of how badly we've been run as a club by Woodward, managers, owners.

Anyway want to try defending now even the CEO has outed him as a rat?

Some humble pies to dish out.

Did Arnold actually name him or just the fans putting two and two together?
Apparently said the two biggest suspects have left the club. The biggest rumours have surrounded Lingard (left), Henderson (still at the club but leaving), Grant (left), Rashford (still at the club) and sometimes Shaw. So by putting two and two together the two biggest culprits seems to have been Lingard and Grant.

At this point it'd take a supremely daft person to not come to the conclusion Lingard was one of the players leaking info
Thanks. Hopefully it’s the end of the leaks and what a class less thing to do by Lingard. Apparently he ‘loves’ the club.

Absolute rat. But he loves the club of course.

Good riddance, best bit of the summer was to get rid of this bellend.

Shame he's left to such a flood of negative feelings.

It's still utterly baffling that we didn't sell him when his stock was high last summer.
It's one thing Ole telling him he'd be a part of things, but then why didn't he follow through with that?
Just another chapter in our bizarre dealings this last decade.

Why would Lee grant leak info? Secret Liverpool fan on the take?

Lingard was an obvious one who clearly hated the fact he wasn’t seen as a starter here.

On bolded: because Ole, as simple as that. The true definition of a managerial idiot.

In years to come it'll be interesting if he puts a book out, and attempts to discuss this season.
Some would blame the Ronaldo dynamic, but it was probably more down to changing style.

Plus of course 90% of the team dropping off al cliff performance wise. We put that down to Ole, but Ralf certainly didn't improve it.
Hopefully a proper up and coming manager will..

Not sure what Lee Grant would have to gain from it? The club has never wronged him in any way. It's Lingard and Pogba who have a chip on their shoulder

Me neither, just relaying what the rumours say. Maybe he was after some extra pay? Pogba never seemed to catch a break from English journos, so don't think it was him.

Apparently one of the guys on Redissue who was confirmed to have been there. Given no video of that exchange has emerged, I'd take it with a grain of salt.
The twat posting the clips and these quotes about leaks says he had a clip of Arnold talking about leakers as well, guess time will tell.

Didn’t think I could dislike him any more than I did, but I now know I was massively wrong.

Currently the same age as Cantona when Cantona announced his retirement.

Cantona spent the previous few years with an entire squad under his wing.

Lingard spent the previous year on loan at West Ham under Mark Noble’s wing, aged 28 and 3/4s.
