I'm probably happiest because it means half of you will stop moaning about him.

Amazing news. I was genuinely worried the club would desperately give Lingard and Pogba new contracts to "protect value"

The Woodward era is finally over

Shame we wasted 20 million by retaining him for one more year.

Anyways finally we are moving on.

Like everyone else, at least 3 years too late and it got to a point where all the previous good will he had as a loyal United squad player has pretty much been tarnished. Anyway, wish him well. Was a dumb decision to force him to stay in a crowded team, only led to issues.

450k per week cleared off the wage bill in one day. No thank you from me in terms of Lingard (or Pogba) - he undid that magnificent FA Cup final goal with his attitude last season. His brother, his Instagram posts, the leaks as exposed by Scholes etc etc.

Who's next Mata? Hopefully Jones, Bailly, Martial, Andreas and Tuanzebe will follow them.

9 words.

7 too many.

'See ya' would have done.
Wouldnt ''see ya'' imply that we would see him again? As in, he will return? :nervous:

He scored some nice goals at important times, i hope that will be his legacy but right now i can only think of him as that Manchester United attacking midfielder who needed an goalkeeper error on the last day of the season to not end the season on 0 goals. Goodluck to him and the rest of his career. Really should have been sold last summer though...
