any top club would have a back-up plan and a deadlines. That would disarm Barcelona instantly
Have you considered going to work for United. We could do with someone who can turn complex negotiations into primary school level thinking. Game changer.

Barcelona know we have 200M smackers in a duffel bag ready to save them because of Arnold's bragging. They will rinse the club out of every euro even 100M. They know Manchester United is obsessed with De JONg and there's no alternative. Barcelona hold the power.

no wonder the negotiations are taking so long if they've got murtough held at Gunpoint

The transfer experts are worse than the coaching analysts.

'Yeah that's great pal, but if you're so fecking good and negotiating multimillion-pound deals, why are you working in a fecking call centre?'

This analysis of Frenkie’s play at Ajax vs Barca is quite troubling. He’s quite poor defensively in La Liga, whereas he wasn’t at Ajax. There is a major gap in effectiveness vs Veratti, Thiago and Kante. He’s still elite in ball progression, but he’s been abysmal defensively. The fact that none of the other big clubs want him is definitely a red flag.

Hopefully Ten Hag can get the best out of him.

He's been a bit annoying as a journalist of late. I think he's trying to say something without saying too much but he comes across as a "I know something you don't" sort of tit.

Can’t think who else we may have chatted about
They were linked with Telles before, we have a long standing interest in Fati - supposedly amd there was the Araujo rumour before he renewed. They're also trying to flog anyone, so I imagine they're touting anyone they can around europe.

Always does. I can't bear listening to him for too long as he always tries to come across as knowledgeable when he really knows feck all most of the time. Also the way he often tries to portray the most obvious things as some kind of insiderknowledge is irritating.

This keeps coming back every ten pages or so. Those stats lack context and the interpretation of those stats is poor.

His defensive stats at Barca are shit, because he plays like an 8, an attacking midfielder.

At Ajax (and Holland) his defensive stats are better because he plays in front of the defense, as a no 6 (be it a single or double pivot), which is his best position according to ETH, LVG and anyone who's followed his career somewhat.

The reason he benefits by playing with another holding midfielder is that he has more freedom to be creative, invite the press, beat the press and take risks in possession. It's not because he's a luxury player that cannot defend.

What a twit, why doesn't he bother to say what else they've been talking about,God these journo's are boring as feck.
Because the club likely doesn't want him to disclose that info yet. The reliable journos stay reliable because they have a direct line from the clubs. You disclose more than they ask you to, you risk losing that source for good.

Here we go again. At Barça, Frenkie is playing in front of Busquets and Pedri as an attacking midfielder. At Ajax he was dm or lcm.
