They literally provide the same news. One of them just lacks charism and talk like they speak or Manchester. Whilst the other channel gives the same information but more entertaining.

But enjoy Jay and Jesus being promoted to do United UK gold.
They're not a news channel. If you want made up stories and The Sun gossip go to the other channel.

Theyl report on all rumours like everyone else but they won't allocate too much time to it.

I got into a conversation with Howson in the comments section about Ashley Williams when he wanted United to sign him, and the only defence of his position he could come up with was that Rio rated him.
As bad as things have been, there's a parallel universe where Rio is made Director of Football and it doesn't bear thinking about.

Far play for backing your channel. They literally both do the samething though. I mean paddock are always intervening Journalists.

Howson comes out with some incredibly bizarre and needlessly inflammatory statements at times. He generally has more football knowledge than most of the clowns on these fan channels though. Ricky from The United Stand is probably the best of a very bad bunch overall.
Yeah Howson has good takes most of the time. Though it's doused in his rough way of speaking. Not that I agree with those good takes. And then he comes out with some ridiculous stuff you wonder if it's the same person.

United Stand is the biggest fan channel by a country mile so Mark does something right and is a smart guy as well. Personally i love watching him, even though i dont agree with everything he says and he does milk transfer rumours to the fullest. He is way more entertaining than the rest out there + Ricky is also a decent addition. He often disagrees with Mark and mostly get it right. Seems like a guy with a lot of knowledge.

Anyway a smaller decent channel who talks a lot about United, is Atlantis Fotball. He mostly talk about tactics and potensial targets over news.
I think Atlantis Football posts on here.

The ridiculous stuff is the real Howson coming through, he was like that all the time in his early days on youtube until he got some media training and learned to hide it. The mask still slips from time to time though, as it did with that disgraceful munich comment.

Not sure how Howson entered the discussion in this thread, but I too have stopped watching him, simply because I think he's a grade A cnut.

Wouldn't mind Pau, though. ;)

I was expecting the link with Torres would get stronger if Timber decides to stay.

But what is this United Stand and Stretford Paddock?

I used to watch the old channel of Stretford Paddock (called fulltimedevils), stopped watching like in 2015 (Not sure the exact year) since I realised there are so many bellends in that channel (the good ones like statman dave and one skinny guy left to join MUTV so I stopped watching). I called them bellends because they were so arrogant and disrespectful. While United Stand, I don't like their content since they are click bait but I used to watch the fan cam show that were run by someone called Flex and KG but those two left like last year and created a channel called ''United View''. And I'm watching the United View contents and they are quality. The Flex guy who owned United View is long distance cousin of Robbie AFTV. Unlike Stretford Paddock and United Stand, Flex is very respectful IMO.

Either way, my preference would have been Timber but I wouldn't mind us getting Torres. He has top class ball playing ability IMO.

Pau Torres is not what we need imo. Good player, but seems similar to what we already have in Maguire and Lindelof - maybe a bit of a better version of Lindelof. I worry about his physicality in the prem. He is also not particularly quick which would prevent us from playing a higher line. Just not sure what he offers that is much of an upgrade on what we have. If Timber doesn't happen, I'd go for Tomori.

I agree that we need a quick, aggressive, front foot defender, but I'd like that person to be left footed. Timber and Tomori are very good centre backs, but they are not left footed, unfortunately, which would disrupt the balance of us playing out from the back.

Obviously, it's not a must, but it's something that, like Van Gaal when he was here, ten Hag prefers. He had Blind and De Ligt and few years back, and more recently Martinez and Timber.

We've recently been linked with David Carmo, who, from what I have heard and read, fits the right profile of player.

He's much better on the ball than what we currently have. And a left footed LCB too, which isn't essential but is preferred by possession managers.

But while I'd take him over any of current CBs in an ETH team, I'm not sure I'd want him alongside any of our current CBs in an ETH team. And unfortunately we do have to make do with our current CBs, so ideally we should be looking for someone who complements them.

He would but I think he is our second choice for that LCB role behind Bastoni. Hoping we get Bastoni as I think is a special player. Torres is good though.
If your not getting Bastoni who is?:smirk:

I think whoever loses the race for Bastoni between us and Spurs will get this guy instead. Looks like we're scouting the same players.

I agree, not sure about him in a back two in a league as physical as the PL. Think in a three he would be ok though, Bastoni the better option.

Inter have to sell, but they have options of who they sell, I feel they can scrape by with the sale of a player or two.

Thought Spurs recently brought in some young CB's in Romero and Rodon? Is the link to Spurs genuine for Bastoni, Torres? Could just be manufactured to drive up asking price.

Conte is dead set on back 3, and the LCB upgrade is on the card from what we see right now where they try to sign Bastoni, and Pau Torres is on the list too.

Conte had many chance to try Rodon, but he didn't by going with Davies, Romero even Davisson Sanchez at that LCB position, so I doubt he would do an u turn after failing to land Bastoni.

Italians tend to have a bad record in the Premier League and quickly want to go back to Italy. I can’t see us going for Bastoni. The links with Torres have also gone quiet.

Seems to be more of a DM than a CB. His reading of the game and subsequent interceptions are good, but his tackling is average (tends to mistime some of his tackles) and some of his decisions for passing forward are risky. A CB needs to keep their passes simple, not complicated.

This guy has been whoring himself around europe for 2 months now, if Villareal can't offload him and don't want him, then I don't want nothing to do with him.
I think it was more the price, Villarreal are in desperate need of cash, so they are willing to accept a much lower fee from reports.

We know he was a club target more so than a ETH target and it seems like he is behind both Timber and Martinez in terms of our order of preference (if you take certain transfer stories at face value at least).

I wouldn't be overly surprised if we ultimately end up opting for him though as it will be difficult to sign both Martinez and Antony from Ajax this summer, with an attacker (again reportedly) higher on our list of priorities. It may be that we end up signing just one player from Ajax, in which case we may then opt for Torres as the CB signing.

Tbh I like pretty much all the CBs we've been linked with to varying degrees so I'm happy enough whichever way we go with them.

Agree to get 2 from Ajax, after they have already sold 2 . Antony may be the only one. So Torres looks like it could be the other. This FDJ deal is the one imo holding others up?

I just hope we can even get one. At the moment I'm not even sure because it's looking like we can't afford more than De Jong and Antony (if Eriksen comes, it'll be on a free).
