Yes. It's just that we generally use the suffix with an 'e' in Denmark, whereas the other Nordic countries generally uses 'o'.
If a child's father is called Eriksen and he calls his child Erik, is that child then called Eriksensen?

Have zero excitement for this transfer whatsoever. There's way too much pressure at this club for a player who actually died on a pitch not long ago.

Christ, we never learn. This will be Schweinsteiger/ Sanchez all over again.

With his heart issue? Damn.

One thing's for sure, it takes courage to come back from what he had.

I like this signing very much. Now, we can afford to drop Bruno from time to time. Bruno really didn't meet my expectations last season.

He's a brilliant, intelligent footballer who has never relied on pace/strength (the main declining attributes of age), who has a new lease of life - exhibited by excellent performances in the premier league last season. Oh, he's also FREE. It's definitely an exciting transfer.

Doubt he will play 90 every week, but he will add some much needed composure when he is on the pitch.

Could be a good signing, he might give Bruno some guidance on how to keep the ball.

Why all the Bruno Replacement stuff.

——————Rashford——————
Sancho——Bruno———Erikson
————Fred——-FDJ——————

This is our best from 6 in my eyes, only question is Rashford regaining some form. Its a good hardworking team.

Ronaldo, Mctominay, VDB, Elanga, Antony? Is okay backup I guess. Get Bruno back to his best Position with a mobile front 3.
I'm with you. I see plenty of possibility to have them both in the same lineup. I'd expect Bruno and Eriksen to interchange frequently during the game. Have two players with their quality in delivery means it's going to add a wonderful dimension to our play and make it that much harder for defenses to track.

Don't bother cheering when he scores or provides an assist then if so unhappy about it

Always considering his health and the whole psychology around that, as a fan. But, I think this is a super signing. A wonderful player and we need that in our dressing room.

How he plays alongside Bruno is the interesting (and potentially, complicated..) thing though. No idea how you fit both of them into many of the games we will be facing. One has to play deep and dictate play... and both, I think, are best further forward, creating and taking chances. For home games, against many opposition, this will be a joy to watch. But against the more astute teams, we will just have to see what Ten Hag is thinking. But a good signing.

But this window has been awfully flat, underwhelming and doesn't really inspire (well, doesn't inspire me so much...).

People aren't happy with this buy, did you see him at Old Trafford this season? Was one of the best players on the pitch.

Except Eriksen has just been playing in the PL for the past several months and bossing it?

So not really anything like either deal.

He’s just turned 30 not 35 ffs.

The answer is no. They didn’t see him play nor do they know anything about football. It’s the only explanation

I think people have to bear in mind we need quality in the Europa League too. That might be our chance of getting to the champions league.

I have no idea of the quality of other possible signings. This along with De Jong would be my favourite transfers of the summer. I have always admired Erikson since his Spurs days. His passing and vision just ooze quality.

Very happy with this signing. Frenkie next, Anthony, a CB and one more hopefully.

I will struggle with the fecking misspellings of his very straight forward name on this forum, but all in all I'm happy.

I think it will be one of these 2 personally (with positions potentially changing in game with subs):

Eriksen FDJ

Sancho Bruno Rashford

Martial/new St

OR

Eriksen FDJ

Sancho VDB Rashford

Bruno
