I'm definitely bothered by the downsides of him being here. Whether that's being dropped back into the starting team and disrupting what we've been doing in pre-season or being a petulant, attention-grabbing presence on the bench who obviously doesn't want to be here.
Ronaldo is 38 next season and still prancing around like he is 28 and in his prime and thinks he's not droppable. He also thinks he should be the centre of everything. His ego is the same as it was in his prime. That's a huge huge problem and only going to cause rifts in the squad as he'll want everything to go through him and I presume the other players feel this way. Carragher was right, he'll get some goals but make United a worse team. The big question if he stays will Ten Hag be able to put manners on him if he starts on the bench or gets substituted.
