I was just kidding about the Chelsea part, just enjoying this thread and hysteria over FDJ. Every summer there's one classic thread about somebody possibly joining MU on the Transfer Forum that lasts for weeks and weeks and it's always entertaining.

We're going to be fine, thank you. This is my last reply since I can't post more than five a day, but it was a pleasure talking to you too.
I’m glad I was correct in identifying that you had come here to WUM.

I’m also glad I’ve used your five posts up so we don’t have to hear any more from you on the matter.

Good day Sir.

Why? If we publicly end chase for FDJ, clubs will just raise prices for midfielders we're looking at.
It didn't necessarily happen with Timber
And it's the lesser evil of chasing FDJ till deadline day and leaving empty handed because the criticism would be bigger than anything Woodward got

He had the tools, Ten Hag is a good coach but he isn't some miracle worker.

You'll see it when those players go on loan or don't get a lot of minutes next season. Actually, the only player Ten Hag gave some hints he's gonna use in that role is Fred and we've been watching him for 4 years to know he isn't good enough for that.
You didn’t answer my question so I’ll assume you don’t know?

It's about the budget.
No one knows what the budget is. Either £120 m or £180m - which is frankly ridiculous for a club of our size and wealth but thems the breaks. But if you sell AWB, Dalot, Tuanzebe, Williams, Jones - you ought to be able to bring in at least £50m - Anthony at £60m, de Jong at £60-70m is £120-130m - plus Malacia at £13m, and Martinez at £57m and you get about £130-140m - which if the budget IS £180 m - ought to give you enough to get a RB like Dumfries in too - which is also clearly very necessary. In that case - United STILL lack a CM/BWM but that is something which will have to be addressed next window or in next summer it seems.

That poster is claiming a Sam Pilger tweet is evidence we've moved off FDJ for Antony. Lets not waste actual brain cells trying to have a nuanced discussion about Antony and CMs.

The idea that we've been sent on a wild goose chase, I don't believe.

The rest of the United hierarchy? Yes.

But Ten Hag? He wouldn't waste United's time or drag us through the mud, he seems incredibly pragmatic.

If De Jong stays it is because he isn't going to be paid. And this is a reasonable, if not likely, outcome.

MUFC directly briefed Ducker from the Tele just before the tour that we got the green light from FDJ. The only competent players in this shit show are MUFC and ETH.

The entire saga is FDJ-Barca

laughing emojis won’t change the fact that Chelsea won the CL two years ago, and are a more credible title contender than United. Go look at the table for last season.
By your logic, United were more credible contenders for the title last season than Liverpool.

2000+ posts. fecking hell man.

Genuinely, we should try and make some in-roads to have @Berbaclass as part of the Frenkie unveiling

In possession he practically played like a deep-lying playmaker , which sort of worked when Barca were building their play. But out of possession, well, he's no CB.
is it just me or does everything FDJ-Barca related: the statements from Xavi/laporta, playing CB, FDJ saying nothing public about cutting wages, it's all being done for the eventual lawsuit? Or basically evidence gathering should it go to a lawsuit?

Everything around FDJ-Barca feels so fake. "Oh yes, FDJ offers a lot of depth at CB....We love FDJ, but can a Bench CB really be allowed those wages?"

Frenkie's signing. Flanked by ETH on one side and @Berbaclass on the other. Berba is wearing a necklace containing the skulls of all of the muppets who failed us and gave up before the mythical 10,000th page.

Liverpool won the CL in similar circumstances in 2005, didn’t change the fact they were miles away from being a league contender.

The closet Chelsea have been to the league winners since 2017 is nineteen points off. We got 12 points off since then, which is still also miles off.

Nothing “credibly” has them or United as a title contender.
