The striker market right now is dead. I guarantee you whoever we buy we all already know them.
Schlager just moved to Leipzig this summer, so that's not an option.

He's one of two they are planning to buy this summer. My presumption is that if we get frenkie then rabiot will play higher up in midfield than him. If we get SMS then rabiot will play deeper than SMS.
Exaxtly how it would work. With Rabiot you also have a guy who’s positionally sound. So if Frenkie goes of on a run Rabiot won’t leave the midfield and defence exposed.
It’s a perfect combination with players that can manage a game on the pitch. We don’t have that now Matic has gone.

don’t think we will get frenkie, if we had wanted him before the latest vibes, then we would have got him. Literally no reason for united not to have got him earlier if he was an actual target.
rabiot doesn’t really fit as a partner with de jong, I think we are holding off on rabiot agreement to see what happens at barca. If de jong doesn’t move we will get rabiot, we will the probably chuck some money at tielemans, for the most underwhelming pairing. I’m guessing the hope that EtH can improve two players back to glory after a year of being poorer than our current players. No doubt they have more talent than mcFred but it’s not a high bar

The problem is that Rabiot is not a very good player. Juventus fans are literally laughing at us for wanting him. It would be like Bayern bidding for McTominay sort of thing
