Thanks for looking out for us, but as an adult, I'm pretty pretty pretty capable of making my own decisions when it comes to a thread about a football player on an internet forum.

I do think the people who come in here spitting feathers getting bizarrely angry probably could do with a break though. The positive muppets are the more relaxed group in here.
Thats what im refering to. I just dont know why some people come in here getting upset just after a tweet and expressing all sort of negative emotion. I think all of the information is pretty much the same and it wont be any different until the player sort his issue with Barca about the money.

This thread is probably the most intense of all time, i mean, after only 15mins, theres like 20 to 30 pages been posted.

Playing with ETH who has already gotten De Jong to play his best football is the best decision he can make. Also he would be the leader of that midfield. Staying at Barca, where De Jong's best position doesn’t even exist and were the fans are already upset with him seems like a terrible idea. I truly don't understand him now that United even agreed to pay him more.
Exactly.

Gaz. Is a Mewling Quim.
My main worry about this deal is that at this point there’s already a large part of the fan base that’s turned on him for literally no reason. It’s kinda like Pogba in that the second he puts in a performance that isn’t up to scratch (as happens to players all the time) then the knives will be stuck so deep into him it’ll make the ides of March look like some gentle ribbing.

At a certain point, a transfer thread stops being about the player and becomes a temple to muppetry. That requires that muppet views to be challenged by doubters, only for them to be vehemently reinforced and proclaimed by true muppets. Without the negative people, how can muppets truly exclaim their muppetry for all to see?

Plus it's a perfect storm. Laporta waging a media war on the player, the not so effective window we're having, contract shenanigans, Barca in financial peril, a player that would genuinely be game changing for us, Chelsea bidding or enquiring openly for players in all directions, and not to mention the most ridiculous amount of drama surrounding a transfer in a very long time.

What's not to love?

FFS, if Edurne who was an actual semi-celebrity managed to settle in Manchester than Mikky who is just a pretty face who wants to surf and eat paella all the time can too.

Maybe she is worried about De Jongs palanka in the cold weather...

How many HOTS is Romero going to give us today? It's been verging on incinerator heat for the past week or so, so surely can't get much hotter

I know what‘s in the briefcase: an empty note-pad. They have run out of ideas to piss off Frenkie.

Possibly today we will know how this is going to shake out.. Either way we need to get this sorted or move onto other things if its not happening. I am all for the transfer muppetry but there comes a time when we just need to move on and focus on other targets.

BIG day today!

Happy Frenkie Friday!

Mucho Mucho grande pantusos!
Hot hot HOT day today!! So hot that the flames of hell will seem mild in comparison. Grab all your friends, tell them it's time, if they ask what for, tell them there's no time to explain!!

Today is the biggest day yet. Bigger than yesterday, but smaller than tomorrow!

IF today isn't Frenkie Friday... then i'm fairly sure next Friday is.

Or... Maybe we've been doing it all wrong. Maybe we should actually be looking out for Mikky Monday.

I agree about Conte's quality as a manager, but his teams are not easy on the eye from my perspective...
I'd find it quite easy to watch my team winning! :)

Seriously, I know what you are saying but I'd take that right now
