I haven't missed even one of the Man United games in the last 5-6 years. I seriously feel Jose did a great job to finish second with this crappy squad. Not even Pep or Klopp can improve this squad of players.

PLEASE SELL THE CLUB NOW! We need a new start! I'm sure all the Man Utd fans are ready to give up this season for a brand new start under new owners! It's time for the Glazers to go! Empty OT next week is a must now!

De Gea is a MAJOR problem in our team.

He simply can't play the ball out from the back.

That effectively means that De Gea cannot play the style of football that Ten Hag wants.

Something has to give.

It is time for De Gea to move on, because I'm backing the manager.
8/9 players can’t play the game the manager wants…and that might include some of the players he brought in going by his subs today

1) Who would’ve thought a 5 foot 10 centre back would struggle in the Premier League.. and we only went and spunked £60m for the pleasure. Varane needs to start.. who next to I couldn’t care less

2) Shaw shouldn’t start again.. Malacia is MUCH better

3) The players have no bottle at all.. all of them are spineless tossers who have no right to wear the shirt (maybe 2 or 3 do.. possibly)

4) We desperately need a leader. Spunk £150m on Declan Rice and just get it over with

5) We are shite

6) Is anyone actually surprised about today?

7) Glazers out.

That was a hard watch and the sad thing is I’m not surprised. Bruno needs dropped. He’s been shocking for too long. I’d give Malacia a start next game and possibly Garnacho. ETH needs to read the riot act.

We play such shit and obvious football.

Think last time we lost the first two games was 92/93. We drew our third, signed Cantona and won our first title in decades.

Not that that means a thing, we’ll be lucky to finish top 10.

Those first 2 goals were hungover Sunday league shit. I'm sure it's a complete coincidence but Feed has been taken off at half-time in both games and we haven't conceded a goal in the 2nd half maybe we should start without him Vs Liverpool and pray.

Why do Brentford supporters think this is such a big deal. Excellent performance from them. When you see their players sprinting back 91st minute 4-0 up in 32 degrees.

There's no kudos in beating us anymore. How long before there's a sack watch thread for our new manager.

the solution to a bad midfield: no midfield. Genius.

the situation that led to Maguire's yellow card (16 minute) sums up this team. Average, braindead, disinterested.

No this needs to stop. It's the fecking sunday league midfield in front of him and an absolute fecking cart horse of a left back next to him. Plenty of decent, good quality CB's around his size. Other than Kane, Nunez and Haaland, the Prem is not blessed with fecking giants tbf.

Im hoping we send Shaw off to Greggs for a six month loan, utter gobshite and coward of a footballer.
It doesn't need to stop. Their entire corner routine was built on isolating Martinez at the back post for an easy tap in header since Martinez couldn't reach it. Brighton's entire game plan was putting Welbeck on Martinez and pumping it to him for an easy knock down. You can't do that in the Prem.

Of the many, many things that could be said, I'll stick to just two.

1. This was a game so shamefully bad that it will go down in club history as one of the defining embarrassments of the most abject low point period of the club's modern history.

2. It seems pretty clear to me we are right at the precipice of the point where this version of the team is simply finished. Done. Where the collective collapse in confidence has reached a point where there's nothing left to do other than start over. They have one, maybe two games to do something that gives some reason for faith. If they can't, they're finished. It's not about the coaching or system or even the qualities of the players individually anymore.

When you keep playing the same useless players then you get the same awful results. Said at the start of the summer that at least 7 players needed replacing. How much longer do we have to suffer these clowns.

The worst thing was that we didn’t really look liKe much of a threat in the second half. We’re short in every department (sorry for the pun)

And safe to say the goalkeeper position is another requirement.

Glazers out, that’s all you have to say. No point dissecting the team or manager. Nothing will change until they are gone. Burn it all to the ground.

Massive and sustained fan action is all that matters at this point.

No manager can fix this lot.

Not pep. Not Fergie in his prime.

You just have to get rid of them and rebuild the entire team almost.

I think if you could speak candidly with the players, the Maguire transfer ruined everything.

A player operating that poorly still being picked AND being made captain surely has broken squad morale.

Does anyone want 2 tickets to Liverpool next week? I don't think I want them anymore:lol:
Honestly I think if you gave them away 9/10 people would sell them.

Unless you are scouse there is more entertainment value in watching a schimpanzee taking a crap and throwing it at kids.

United paying the price for a piss poor transfer window. RR was right we needed 10 new players. We have had 3 in and 5 out.
so we have started the season with a much weaker team than last seasons disastrous pathetic capitulation.. Its a disgrace and an embarrassment to our once mighty club.

glazers out !

De Gea and the defence failed us. As soon as De Gea let the first goal in, I knew their heads already dropped.

Attack is also not working. Bruno-Rashford-Ronaldo is not working and has never worked. Ronaldo can feck off, one of Rashford and Bruno needs to be benched, and stick the other to the left. Eriksen should play further forward.

Rabiot and Fred or McT when when we need more physicality could work, maybe.

I turned it off after 3-0. Apparently they scored another just when I stopped. It seems we couldn't even get one back. I never turn off games; because of the 'never stop believing' and all that shit. I used to say we're United fans, we don't give up. But today I gave up, because it looked like the team had too. I just don't get it. Why are our players so bad at the simple things in football? It's the same thing again and again. No fight at all. And you know the owners won't do a damn thing about it. There will be no accountability. I hope EtH realizes that he'll go before the players and just goes scorched earth with his team selection. We'll likely lose again next week. At least I'm prepared for that. I just had a lot of hope this season. Didn't even last an hour. I think I'll quit my rant now.

We’ll be in a relegation fight like Everton last year.
2nd game - 0 difference in our play. It’s like Ole never left. Combination of shite players and weak manager.

De Gea was a major problem for quite a while. Most of us knew he'd be unsuitable for this kind of play. We have shit people in charge of our football activities, otherwise they would have recognised even before ETH rocked up that he needed replacing. De Gea is so coddled by the club I wonder if he's got nudes of all the board members? Then again some of our fans coddle him as well. I can't get my head around it.

De Gea should take the bulk of the blame for kickstarting the mediocrity and increasing the pressure on an already fragile squad.

Freak result.

3 completely avoidable goals, and then our heads are gonna completely for the fourth.

DDG needs binning off. As does Maguire.
DeGea was at fault for all 3. Can't understand why Varane didn't start
Lisandro Martinez looks like a waste of money- but then again so did a certain Serbian CB at the start of his career.
Martinez should be okay. I don't think he was at for any of the goals

This isn't about managers, its not even about player ability.

This is an entire dressing room that has completely collapsed under the pressure of playing for the club.

All of them.

For years our rivals have built skyscrapers and we've just been concealing cracks with lead paint on a crumbling palace where we've also stuffed the old foundations with plastic bags filled with cat shit. Yes I wrote this instead of watching the last few minutes so it's overly dramatic but still ffs.

Under Sir Alex, when we lost a previous game, I felt confident that we'd win the next one. The opposition were in trouble because the players wanted to WIN. They hated losing. So we'd go out and keep playing until the job was done. Everyone went on about Fergie Time and our late equalisers/winners but the reality was that United were just too damn stubborn to know when they had lost.

This current team, though? Five minutes into the game and things don't go perfectly? Their heads drop like fecking stones. They accept defeat because they're fecking useless. Brentford didn't even play much in that second half and we still did nothing. It was bad enough when City did it last season...

Every player needs to feck off. And the board and owners who have allowed our team to get to this point over the years and let it keep happening need to feck off as well. None of you cnuts are United. I don't even know what it means but, whatever, eat a bunch of spoons.

Biggest club in the world?! We've fallen so far behind our rivals because the club has accepted "below average" as the standard for ten years. From background staff to players we've been coasting, letting players build their "brand" and useless, clueless executives leeching a wage from the club for barely doing the minimum in their job descriptions, whilst other teams just breeze past us because they have experts in the right senior positions - which should be the real bare minimum requirement for the actual people put into those jobs.

And Liverpool are up next? feck me. Even when Liverpool were shite they were still proud of the shirt, their history, their retired legends. These fecks won't even bother. They'll just feel sorry for themselves, tell the press that it's not good enough and they must try harder, and buckle under the Scousers as soon as Salah pounces on the first misplaced pass. FFS, WE used to be their yearly Cup Final - that's how important it was for them to try and beat us, because they actually had pride. There's feck all chance of us having the same response now that the tables have turned.

Because these clowns are not Manchester United, they're Bruno8 (and whatever brand names the other players have) who just happen to play for United. If they actually gave a shit about the club they wouldn't buckle like this all of the time. feck the players. feck Murtough. feck the Glazers. feck all of them.

Bottom of the table. Exactly where this shower of shite belong.
Bang on.
Nearly an entire generation of school kids has have grown up with Man United being a joke. There might be a couple at the end of their school terms who remember Fergie's last season in charge, but for the rest, United are something from a bygone era. We think we're the biggest club in the world, but an entire generation of kids will have known us as nothing but abject failures.

Get Malacia and the kids out on loan ASAP. Give them a chance to develop at proper clubs away from this cabaret grotesque. No pride, no brains, no courage and no shame. Maybe they're too stupid to realise they've been humiliated. Again.
