Clear to me that De Gea is a weakness in the team with his distribution. We lose possession so many times by him punting it long.
Antony will be a massive upgrade on Elanga (who I think looks a bit lost at this level in all honesty).
Rashford is a pretty bad CF.
Sancho and Malacia have no attacking understanding at all.

Do have some positives though, Varane and Martinez look fantastic. Eriksen is a rock in CM, so comfortable on the ball. McTominay has done pretty well tonight too so far.

I thought we have been poor especially Elanga and Rashford also not helped by Bruno being careless. I would get Fred and Caseimiro on the pitch. Varane, Martinez, and Dalot have been great though.

Good half. Rashford isn’t cut out for playing up front so we are doing well considering his inability to hold up the ball or get himself into good shooting positions.

Martinez and Varane are forming a really promising partnership at the back. Antony will replace Elanga after today and that’s definitely a good thing!
I don't think Antony will replace Elanga after today. EtH seems to like keeping the new lads on the bench for a couple of games at least to keep winning teams together and keep spirits up.

Very good half that, though Rashford needs to sharpen up a bit, but overall a very hardworking performance throughout the team.

Sancho is a smart, technical player with skills but he's soft. He lacks quickness, explosiveness and cutting edge in anything he does. I really hope this is not his true form because I want him to do well.

Leicester’s form is terrible. They are really bad for the moment.

United has spent over £ 2 billions this window, but we don’t look like a top-4 team yet. Hopefully we get three points today and see contours of a top-4 team within this month.
If we can spend 2 billions in this window, we can change the first XI and 4~6 bench players

Good first halve, controlled most of it. Ten Hag has done well in turning us more into a possession based team rather then just a counter attacking team. Sancho is a bit annoying, he’s so good when he has the ball but looks proper tired of it and won’t press much from the front. We definitely need a second goal. Take rashford of for Ronaldo. Get a second goal and then bring on Casemiro to see the game out.
You want Sancho to press more and want to bring on Ronaldo. You can't say those 2 things in the same post

We need to be more aggressive in attack. Our pressing on their keeper has been pitiful and we have generally been a bit lax in the final third. This is where we need to improve to become a top team because there were more goals in that half for us but we haven’t been purposeful enough at all. Dominance needs to be pressed home in this league. We could be 2 or 3 up before one of our full backs get a second yellow then it wouldn’t even matter.

Good half. We were composed. Should have made our dominance count with another goal. Ref was ridiculous.

With both fullbacks on yellow, I would be tempted to bring on Casemiro right at the beginning of second half.

An early goal in the second half for us would be very nice. Would be a nice protection against any Worldie Harvey Barnes/Maddison/Vardy can produce..

Good first half. Defensively quite comfortable, looking threatening going forward, just need a little more precision with the final ball. Rashford seems to lack that silky touch you'd expect for a number 9 to bring other runners in. But, this is a good foundation for the future.

Decent half. Nice to see composure from the team and McTominay has been very good. Ball not really sticking in the attack however and yet again minimal effort from Rashford. A patch of form for Ronaldo and Antony/Martial being available may put Rashford a long way from this lineup.

Rashford and Elanga poor as usual. Other than them, we've looked pretty sharp and our back line continues to impress

Comfortable first half. Controlled the game once we had scored, we really should have scored more though. McT outstanding tonight. The teams working hard when not in possession too.

more of the same and another goal should come but Leicester cant be as bad 2nd half so need to keep the work rate going.

Martial better get over his fecking injuries issues. You bring in Martial and Antony in this squad to replace the awful, downright useless Elanga and mediocre Rashford and we'll be comfortably beating team at this current Leicester level.

Elanga and Rashford have been pretty awful, assist aside for Rashford. Slightly better quality than those 2 and we'd have been up 3 against this awful, zero confidence Leicester.

Add a keeper who can actually distribute the ball decently and we'll be looking pretty good. DeGea is so aweful on the ball that every pass back to him is an automatic loss of possession. Just terrible with the ball.

Yeah. Once Martial return and Antony get integrated, our attack will go levels up just for the sheer fact will have some decent quality instead of Elanga and Rashford who both are awful and can't play simple quick passing with any accuracy.
Rashfords done ok today. I reckon he might be finding his confidence again. No point me joining the pile on about Elanga, I think we all agree on that one. It’ll be nice to have some options though.

Enjoyed that half. Bad feeling we’ll regret not taking advantage of how shit Leicester are, they’ve been shocking.

Very decent half, fully in control.
Don’t like the yellow cards to our back, we need them.

Rashy our next playmaker? Haha. He's been pretty good in terms of looking out for a pass instead of going for wild dribbles or shots.

Sancho looking cool as a cucumber and technically the best player on the pitch.

Varane and Martinez solid. I don't want to see Maguire start for us again tbh and I've been this way for a while.

    Very good signs so far.

And casemiro is sat in the bench.

People turning their nose up at the possibility of getting Depay, even though he would be a massive upgrade over Rashford and Elanga.

Still so much work to do with this team but we are getting better.

They’ll be too tired on Sunday I expect 2/3 changes.

Someone gonna have to look at the stats because any time we have gone long is because the short pass wasnt there, and swear ive seen plenty of great split passes from DDG today. People want to complain about the occasional long but seem to have forgot what happens when we force it somewhere in the box ala eriksen early in season

That period of play just after Sancho’s goal where we played out from the back - that’s progress!
You can see Ten Hag’s influence slowly growing on this side

Good half but I feel with Leicester being so poor we could be leading by more so the front could be doing better

    Poor?

that’s possibly the best half of football we’ve played in a long time. Complete domination… just need to add another goal

Weakness so far has been Dalot. He needs to get back to the player we have seen the past two games on defense.

Also more striking of the ball off the pass/feed. You don't have to screw around with it when it's a transition moment, take the shot.

Pretty much agree with this, also thought De Gea punting it a million times for us to concede possession was going to make my smash my phone, so frustrating.
