ETH plays Marcus all day long because of his speed especially in the final 20mins, and his speed scored 2 goals, he is a counter attack expert
Hope that Marcus and Martinez will be okay for the next match.
Maguire is so poorest in this match. No way he can play for the starter under that performance. No way.

Arsenal gifted us with that three-player sub mid second half. Thought Odegaard, Martinelli and Zinchenko had done really well and gave us all kinds of problems.

I have not seen the game but from what I heard Rashford had a good game and Erikson was outstanding.

Immense performance by everyone. The defence was solid except for Arsenal's goal where several players were out of position. Rashford MOTM for me. Bruno & Eriksen were fantastic. McT really has a fire lit under his arse the last few weeks and is performing quite well.
That was cuz Varane turned the ball over and ended in a transition for Arsenal.

Got to admit it, Ten Hag knows more than me . In all seriousness, i wouldnt of played McTom, anf Rashford would be nowhere near the team, but both players did well, and Ten Hag is showing in every game that he simply knows what he's doing, and deserves my faith, and other fans faith.
Yeah, we the fans just have to stand by his decisions. Even when he makes mistakes. Who doesn't?

I love to beat Arsenal  What a story of Eriksen. All our signings are great so far (Casemiro aside).

If I was an Arsenal-fan - I would be furious. I have never seen a team play so well for long periods - and be so awful defensively. But Arsenals bench is really poor compared to the other top-4 candidates - so they really need Jesus, Martinelli, Saka and Ødegaard to stay fit

Superb. We got penned in for long periods but great effort all round. Midfield was great first half in particular, love beating Arsenal - they’re right behind pool for me. Cant stand them.

Brilliant performance from Eriksen. Amazing goals with world class assists. We needed a player exactly like Eriksen for years. Bruno had a more controlled game than usual, fewer hair ball Hollywood passes, and that assist was a beauty!

Great workhorse performance from McTominay.
Great debut goal from Antony.
We have a real team again. A plan, a strategy, and a coach/manager in control.
Stoked for Rashy to score twice and get an assist.
We definitely have some weaknesses but on 72 hours rest, it was a smashing.

Also, feck off Arsenal.

A few takeaways here:

1. We are even better than that performance. The first 15 minutes of the game showed exactly what we can do. After that we had patches of good play. When we attacked, both on the counter and fully in their half, we attacked really well and fluidly. IMO even better than Arsenal did when they had the ball and that's fantastic. We have the solution to the lack of control after that period, that has to do with closing spaces in midfield, which Casemiro can do expertly.

2. Rashford is not a striker, but he can easily compete for the left flank with Sancho. There's going to be real competition on the flanks. Antony looks direct and dangerous, so both Rashford and Sancho will need to be really good there. Rashford was really good in his runs today and his ability to make good decisons has improved.

3. The centre forward position will immensely improve our team. Gabriel Jesus was a major reason Arsenal were such a threat in attack. He was really good today and his hold up play shows you what we have been lacking all season in attack. Martial coming in and Ronaldo getting fitter should solve that issue.

4. Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes. I don't think people realise what we have here. Two brilliant passers, Bruno with almost endless energy and magic; Eriksen with line breaking passes and control. Both of whom can play in midfield, attacking midfield and on the flanks, making us so flexible in games. We ended today's match with Fred as the 10 and Eriksen and Bruno out wide; that is true versatility. It's important because it means we will always have good options in areas on the pitch, something we haven't had in years. No more Lingard, no more Pereira, no more Elanga, no more aging Cavani or Ighalo....just actual talent on the pitch each game.

5. Mctominay has a role in this team. His passing has improved and as a player he seems to be improving. Should he be a starter...No. However he can make an impact in this squad which is something I wasn't expecting.

In summary, we have a really good squad with a team performance that shows clear signs of improvements. This Arsenal team gave us far more of a challenge than I think Chelsea and Spurs would give us, with only City being more of a threat, yet we've come through this period, playing both Liverpool and Arsenal unscathed, whilst having a lot of much easier teams to play at home coming up.

Great result. Arsenal were the better team for most of it but thankfully we still have a quality counter attack in our locker.
Explain better team? you know having the ball is not always being the better team right? Our attack was more purposeful than theirs through out the game, they pass around and make it look nice but barely troubled De Gea. We defended so well and had more chances than them and thats not counting 3 goals we scored, the first one just a beautiful passing sequence from De Gea to Antony finishing, beautiful through pass for the second, cutting through their middle and defence etc.

Arsenals defence were all over the place and that made them the better team? You just look at possession and decide who had the better game.

Fred and Maguire; just no

Disappointed Ronnie didn't score, we're progressing. Arsenal were very luck not to lose a player to a red card.
Fred turned the tide in midfield, it stopped the pressure.

With eth giving him instructions of course

Might as well play with 10 men. I rather not bring Maguire on. He was far too slow and turns like a truck and we were all over the place with him playing.

Cake or Death?
Very satisfying win. Perfect that Rashford and Antony were the goalscorers. Excellent play by Eriksen and fighting spirit from McTominay.

Plus we had twice as many shots on target, which you could argue is the most imortant stat, after amount of goals scored and conceded of course.

Its the Liverpool way of thinking, more possession = the better team.

We're quickly seeing what looks to have been some great recruitment.
Eriksen brilliant, Martinez a warrior, Anthony off the mark day 1.

Loved Ronaldo looking so hungry to score in his cameo too!
Ronaldo is looking like he's close isn't he. He was a couple decent passes away from putting that game into ass beating range.

Outstanding game management.. when was the last time we did that?

The character and personality that has been developed so far this season has been outstanding.

Long may it continue.

Man that was a classic Arsenal vs United match. Both teams were fantastic at different periods of the game and it could have gone either way.

It was a weird match to give ratings for as some players who were outstanding for both teams were also really struggling at different periods of the game. Couldn't fault a single player's commitment or intensity.

Super super performance. We definetly appear to be on the right road now. There's a fire in the belly of this team that hasn't beem there in an awful long time. Eriksen outstanding a well deserved MOTM going to be such a crucial player for us along with Varane and Martinez

Needs a start, and that Europa game is brilliantly placed for one.

It'll feel mad seeing Wan Bissaka-Lindelof-Maguire-Shaw as the Europe back line!!
