Without a doubt. If the funeral is the next weekend, those fixtures will go to. Can’t see how any London games would go ahead anyway. The met will prioritise the funeral and unlikely to allow officers to police football matches whilst the funeral is on.

The funny thing about Nicholas Witchell is despite his dedication and devotion for the last century, he has absolutely no inside track about what’s happening within the family. They all hate him and keep him at arms length and despite that making him completely useless at his job, the BBC don’t have the heart to replace him

The burial of monarchs takes place 9 days after passing I think, so the official mourning period will be no longer than that. Afterwards it is all a celebration of the new King.
