What happens now Lizzie's gone? Do we cancel football for a week or two in this already jam packed schedule? Where do we fit in these 1/2 fixtures?
g = window.googletag || {}; googletag.cmd = googletag.cmd || []; window.googletag = googletag; googletag.cmd.push(function() { var interstitialSlot = googletag.defineOutOfPageSlot('/17085479/redcafe_gam_interstitial', googletag.enums.OutOfPageFormat.INTERSTITIAL); if (interstitialSlot) { interstitialSlot.addService(googletag.pubads()); } });
19/20 season should be voided TBH.Title null and void.
Whilst this post is rather ridiculous in a lot of ways, I’ll say this. There will likely be a lot of memorial events this weekend and they will require a lot of police. No reason it should be. She was old. Hardly unexpected.
Who's going to pay for everyone's wasted travel plans should they shut down the country.
Would be antiquated and quite frankly ridiculous.
They are no different from anyone else after all just born with a sense of self importance.
But even at the end of the day even if you are someone who cares about the royal family and this effects have the minute or two silence and everyone is happy.
No sense shutting everything down for something that was inevitable
It most certainly means Liverpool should be relegated. What happens now Lizzie's gone? Do we cancel football for a week or two in this already jam packed schedule? Where do we fit in these 1/2 fixtures?
Postpone the memorial events then. Football is more important.Whilst this post is rather ridiculous in a lot of ways, I’ll say this. There will likely be a lot of memorial events this weekend and they will require a lot of police.
Doubt it.Likely to yes
I sincerely hope you are right. It's not like 99% of premier league players are English.Doubt it.
They better not bloody cancel it. Does everyone get a day off work tomorrow and the weekend too?
Thank you saying what I was too afraid to say. With the greatest respect, it’s a load of bollocks if the games get cancelled. I hope she rests in peace, but we all die.
It’s all good and well having a national mourning day whoever is into that. Minute silences. But to cancel the whole weekend of football is silly.
You appear to be forgetting that fans do actually exist in football.I sincerely hope you are right. It's not like 99% of premier league players are English.

The premier league could just use the Etihad to represent the day of mourning by having no fans.Just don't allowed the british players to play, or the british fans into the stadiums
Yeah play games abroad in a non commonwealth countryJust don't allow the british players to play, or the british fans into the stadiums
Tradition must be upheld
So they are on?After the death of George VI in 1952, rugby and hockey fixtures were called off, while football matches went ahead. Fans sang Abide With Me and the national anthem before kickoff at matches.
Most fans would rather go and if they are so inclined participate in the minutes silence. You appear to be forgetting that fans do actually exist in football.
Didn't forget at all funnily enough. I can't imagine many matchgoing fans are royalists. I'm not taking the day off if there is a national day of mourning for example. You appear to be forgetting that fans do actually exist in football.
The customary 90 minutes silence for the next City home gameThe premier league could just use the Etihad to represent the day of mourning by having no fans.

I believe that standard procedure in such an event, is a 20 point deduction and transfer ban for Liverpool.
