@Anderson_7_ should I call the ambulance?
No, because he only scored as many goals as Phil Foden, and Foden is worse than Dusan Vlahovic, so he is still a fraud.

Or something. But Im fairly certain the poster you are attempting to summon is a performance act and not a genuine opininon

I think Haaland is a better version of Cristiano. He's not going to pass Messi, but he'll obliterate Cristiano and all his records
He really isn’t. He isn’t close to being as good all-round as Ronaldo.

Even when we just assess their scoring ability, he’s not better in the air nor is he as two footed or can shoot from range. His pure finishing and movement you can argue is on par but that’s about it.

Haaland is an athletic Gerd Müller which is hardly a criticism, but prime Cristiano was more complete.

Agreed. This version of Halaand reminds me of a slightly worse 14/15 Ronaldo when scored 48 league goals and 61 in all comps while assisting a further 22.

He isn’t close to peak CR7 by absolutely any stretch though.

Agreed. I would argue this version of Halaand probably even isn’t as good as 14/15 Ronaldo yet (he’s getting close though) let alone absolute peak CR7.
In terms of pure goalscoring, he's up there. His freak flying kick goal definitely shows he's not limited, but Cristiano still had those legendary screamers and free kicks. I'm not sure how much it matters though if Haaland continues like this. He's in a perfect setup and he's scoring almost 2 goals a game in the pl. Depressing really for the rest of us.

Ridiculous player. He needs to go to a stronger league, it's just far too easy for him here. :(

The worst thing is I absolutely love his finishing. I'm hypnotised. It's fecking sickening. :(:(

He is an athletic freak, once he gets on a run the sheer mass and power is impossible to contain.

I don't think he will have the longevity to match others numbers long term but he will put up some ridiculous figures until his body starts to break down.

If City misses out on the CL this season, I don't know what will make them win it.
Even with Haaland for some reason I still don’t think they’ll win it. It’s like a psychological block for them now.

You really need key moments to go your way to win the UCL.

As good as City are, they‘re no certainties in knockout competition ….ie bookies rate them 9/4 against to win it this year.

Recency bias at its finest. It’s like you didn’t watch Cristiano play at his peak. He seems to be a victim of his own longevity nowadays as people seem to forgot how all round of a player Ronaldo was and not just a striker/poacher like he has been the last few years.

Blimey pipe down. Haaland is an amazing player and time will tell - but Ronaldo is one of the greatest of all time

That's why I don't get all the doom and gloom. So far, he has shown to be a limited one trick pony. There's no variety in his finishes. He can't change the game on his own. As long as he doesn't start firing deadly long-range shots, we should be able to deal with him.

I think some struggle with basic maths. Haaland needs 50+ a season for 15 years to beat Ronaldo’s record. To “obliterate” it he’ll 75+ every year for 15 years.

He’s been on fire but I’m still not sure he’ll get 50+ this season. The rate he’s going at is hard to sustain.

All 3 goals were no more than 6 yards out. That aged well!

Feels unfair to compare him to Ronaldo because Ronaldo is second only to Messi in all of football. It's just not necessary.

We should have let City get Ronaldo on 2021and trow all the money we had to this guy this previous summer, but of course our board doesn't have that type of vision :wenger:
We are too big to allow release clause, remember? He insisted on release clause in City also

Grealish must've been watching his connection with Foden and thinking that should've been me!

Yep, he's obviously absolute class. Do not understand so-called united fans point scoring because they said he'd be brilliant, mind. It's like part of the caf are delighted he's amazing. Also, he's a dislikable, arrogant twat...so there's that.

All the evidence points towards him being a likeable, humble guy

We used to have number 9s like him. Now it is city who have them while we have no strikers.

It doesn't work that way. Some times you just win it after your peak

Chelsea couldn't win in Mourinho years nor Ancelotti but won with DiMatteo

Hmm didn't he start the whole psg thing when he posted an IG story in Paris and called it his city?
Fairly light-hearted banter that certain people took far too seriously. I wouldn't point to a bit of teasing as evidence that he's arrogant or a twat.

Edit - just looked it up and found out it was a fake post, so whether it counts as arrogant is actually moot
