Fair result. We're going nowhere until we get a better CF in, no goals in us.

Should've had a penalty. The one on Ronaldo in particular. Took his standing leg as he's trying to get a shot away, resulting in him slicing it wide. Can't believe that one wasn't given. There was a trip on Sancho too though I think he overegged the reaction a little, which possibly went against him.

Should've won it when Rashford rounded the keeper, if only it had fallen to literally any other player on the pitch.

First time I blame TH, but 1 sub. What did he think was going to happen as most played shit? Ronaldo sulking again after being one of the deserved subbed guy. Needs fecking off in Jan.

Better team but you can't win games with that kind of referees. When a game is thight you need correct decisions and not people taking abnormal decision despite replays that we also see.

I hope tenHag don't dissapoint and goes all in against referees and VAR.

26 years worth of debt!
That was an absolutely abysmal performance. Again. Seriously thinking if it's worth coming down to watch this shite anymore.
Are you actually serious? We had quite a few gilt edged chances. Newcastle barely had a sniff in the 2nd half and we had absolute control while creating a fair few.

Absolutely pointless display. Reminded me of those old LvG games where absolutely nothing happens the entire game.

Had to draw at some point. Good team that Newcastle.

We need a battering ram up front. Someone who doesn't care about having the ball. But someone who wants to get stuck in.

Not enough real creativity, Bruno made some bad decisions in good situations and Anthony and Sancho don’t take their man on enough and drive forward.

basically need a proper goal scorer, it’s going to be our Achilles heel this year

Just about deserved the draw , no real urgency until the final few minutes. We are not top 4 quality.

It would be a hard if not impossible task to find a team more profligate in front of goal. there is zero quality in strikers department and we can never seem to buy anyone of quality so there it is, how utd will never amoubt to anything serious.

Quite clear that Ronaldo is finished. Fred was a joke. Antony needs help from the right back or he’s just gonna constantly cut back and do nothing a lot of the time. Bruno annoys me almost every game. I’d much prefer a midfield of Cas, Eriksen and Donny at this point. At least the passing would be better. 100% need to ship Ronny and buy a proper striker that can stay fit in January.

With every match, it's clear that we lack that cutting edge without an actual striker.

Also, how long has it been that we have won a match with some individual brilliance? On paper, you'd expect one of Sancho, Antony, Bruno, Ronaldo and Rashford to have at least one of those every game.

But Sancho always chooses the easy pass. Ronaldo is done. Bruno has been utter wank recently. Only Antony and Rashford seem somewhat capable, but are very inconsistent.

The end of that game really showed how completely toothless we are in attack. No real idea what to do when attacking.

Fred is not good at football. Bruno, Ronaldo, Rashford shouldn't be first team players for United these days.

I’m watching Jamie O’Hara cnuting us off on sky sports news, is it wrong to want to smash his face in?

Bruno Fernandes just loves to give away silly fouls - he did a great job helping Newcastle time waste.

Wait till you see the next game, half of the squad missing and we have a game every 3 days. Only one sub today and Ten Hag clearly doesn't trust kids like LVG did.
Lvg didn't trust kids, he threw them on the pitcch cause we had a thin squad.

Forward like and finishing is a big issue.

See a lot of people moan about chances created but we literally created 2 absolute clear ones at the end of the match. Fred pretty much missed a open net, and rashford missed a free header in 6 yard box.

We find it tough against all organized sides but it was good to see us really applying the pressure in the last ten. Felt a bit like united side of old going until the final whistle. Anthony looked dangerous at times. Sancho was a bit disappointing. Marcus looked decent when he came on but a really poor miss. Bruno annoying again.

I don’t think we where actually too bad. Second half especially. We desperately need Martial fit. Ronaldo can’t play the role of a centre forward the way Ten Hag wants.
It was encouraging to see us pushing and pushing for the winner whilst sticking to shape.
We’re a work in progress and we’re going to have stumbling blocks. Huge week to come with Spurs and Chelsea

For some reason Sancho doesn’t win much calls even when he gets fouled. Everybody thinks he’s soft and just assumes he’s milking it.

Seriously suspicious from the ref.
Not really suspicious, just cowardly. Too scared to make a big decision, but we had a lot more possession in and around their box so it ended up hurting us more.

Let's take the positives here.

1) We got a clean sheet - last season we surely would have lost this game.
2) Antony looked good. As did Casemiro. Generally, our signings have been spot on, and if we continue to recruit for the right positions, we will improve.
3) Also, Newcastle is a decent side. A draw against them is no catastrophe.

We move forward.

Have to give Newcastle credit Eddie how made them so hard to break down, they have some really
Physical players and it made things difficult. Looking at the chances with the post a draw is a fair result. Still think we’ve improved a lot under eth and this takes time as does everything. Disappointed but overall both teams tried hard. Also it doesn’t help when eth can’t rest the team against a Cypriot team

We desperately need another progressive midfielder. Relying on Eriksen is ridiculous anyway, but when he's not fit, the gap between him and his potential replacements is huge.

Desperate for Martial to come back as well, we play so much better without Ronaldo on the pitch.
