Takes Ragnick to the cleaners .
Then goes on to say the club needed demolishing and rebuilding which is what Ragnick said in public…

What a car crash of an interview. I don't really understand what's happening with Ronaldo. Even in the National team, his attitude has been rubbish. I also don't understand his connection with a prick like Piers Morgan, although it can be telling regarding his personality. At this point, I think he should go to the MLS. I really don't want him near Sporting with this kind of attitude.

His points regarding United (not Ten Hag) are spot on though. In terms of organization, United has been shambles in the last years.

If he ends up forcing the glazers to redevelop Carrington or build a new training ground completely then I have to say he had a valid point in that respect.

I'm a self confessed fan of his and its painful to see it ending in a bitter way. I know we are better off without him but it was sheer joy when he did return and just brought so much nostalgia.

Anyway, OT always sing his name and it will be interesting to see how they react. His perception of what United fans think of him maybe based on what he sees at the ground and not what he sees on social media. Not sure.

I really, really hope old Trafford sings Rooney’s name louder than ever first game back.

Is anything he is saying false?

It's not great to hear but we know what a state the club is in.
Why shouldn't he be saying what he is? He doesn't give a damn, he's checked out and Ten Hah doesn't care for him now, it's a broken relationship and one which Has run its course.
If you can't grasp the fact that Liverpool and Arsenal are above us in terms of club stature right now then you are blinkered.

Ronaldo is saying the hard truth that not many want to hear it seems.
The public disrespect to the manager isn’t a problem? Perhaps the timing of this outburst?Would you like every player to come out with their feelings mid season or is this only acceptable for Ronaldo?

Stop being a fanboy for a moment.

Editing my own posts.
It is objectively very funny that he thinks the most sympathetic route is to say the new manager, whose played him loads throughout a prolonged spell of bad form, started him in our first two games after missing all of pre-season, dealt with all the drama surrounding him pretty well and always sought to de-escalate it and even made him captain last week, has “no respect for him” and has treated him badly…

Really read the room well there

Whilst saying he doesn't respect the guy (EtH) who clearly sees Ronaldo as part of the issue Rangnick identified... Our reluctance to move on from the past.

Just heard about this on MotD.

Totally unacceptable behaviour, probably should be construed as gross misconduct and be given the sack.

fecking hell, he made him captain (ahead of De Gea) after all he did before and this is how he repays Ten Hag and United.

I dont care what he says. He has the right to. Some of it I agree with some not. But its the fkn timing and the platform he does it on. Why? Right at this point? After being sht all season. After walking off and refusing to be substituted? After been given another chance and been made captain and still being sht? In mid season just before the world cup just after a good win. Now you think its a good idea? His PR team need firing.

Absolute wanker. Hope he rots in the reserves, good luck finding some club who'll play his wages in the summer. Otherwise enjoy Saudi.

Could we actually sack him without paying off his contract on the back of this? He probably made sure the answer was 'no', before doing it.

The club finished 2nd and 3rd in the two seasons before he arrived, then finished distant 6th when he arrived. This season the club is recovering well and on the right track, doesn't need this shit and would be higher in the table again if he wasn't here, ruining team morale with his toxic behaviour and being absolute shite on the pitch when he does play. Only when he leaves can the club truly move on.

He’s not forcing anything, it’s already in process. All he’s trying to do here is gain some fan backing and burn his bridges with the owners and management so that he can sign for whatever club promises to start him every week, and that doesn’t play with any kind of pressing.
