At least he's doing 1 good thing(except exposing the Glazers)

This crap again. Imagine clubs that build new things have new stuff.

I mean every year my iPhone gets older… After 5 years it’s a antique.

This is normal business. My £80 a month gym was the bee’s knee’s when I joined in 2005. It’s only just had a ‘proper’ refurb 3 months ago and now it’s finally better than my local Pure gym.

For anyone that cares the training ground is getting a new refurb and will probably have usb charges etc etc like everywhere else that’s new.

Yeah, that wasn’t the interview the sound bites advertised. Taken it too far? Probably, but the sensationalism from Morgan made it seem way worse. Most quotes taken out of context.

still, saying he doesn’t respect ETH makes things untenable. Time to move on.

Yep, something is not right with him and Bruno
That’s always been known and is regularly mentioned by the most reliable journalists for club news. Bruno respects everything he has achieved. They are club and country teammates, but that’s it. Not friends or anything. I don’t think Ronaldo really has any.

I think he's made arrangements to do interviews, knowing these sorts of questions would come.

At least three times to my knowledge.

It's strange from a manager. Can you think of another manager doing this?

Whilst at the same time calling round Ronaldo's house.

I think anyone in Ronaldo's shoes would be wondering what's going on there.
Rooney isn't just another manager though. He's probably the biggest English superstar this side of Becks and with the world cup coming up I'm sure he's inundated with offers to appear on talk shows. He was asked a question about Ronaldo which he answered pretty non-controversially I think. It is the truth we play better without Ronaldo which is what he said. If they were friends until recently and this has caused Ronaldo to go apeshit then he's the one with the issue.

Ooh yes I wonder why Rooney one of the biggest English football players of all time and former high profile team mate of Ronaldo was asked questions about him. Blimey some thick people out there, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realise why Rooney is being asked questions on Ronaldo and giving his opinion. Good lord.
He's still working in football and constantly gets asked about United, no shit they'll ask him about Ronaldo when he's one of the bigger storyline surrounding the club since his return.

The notion that Rooney just out of the blue started talking about him for no reason is as insane as Ronaldo having a go at him over a very fair opinion

And even then, United have new stuff that weren't available to him in 2009. I really have an issue with the "zero" because too many people actually believe it.

Yep again it’s common sense and doesn’t mean that Rooney is “ going out of his way to slag off Ronaldo” he’s a high profile ex teammate with a prominent role in football being asked his opinion. Are people being purposely obtuse or are they just abit dim?

You can kinda see Ronaldo’s point though about media and so on when the majority of the Caf is calling him a cnut before even seeing it.

We've had a nice meme going round in Polish and I always thought it was funny, but now it seems accurate, to be fair.

- Dad, I'm so exhausted... taking care of my little brother.
- Look, son, 230 kgs on the leg press.
- I'm hungry, dad.
- I'm so fecking handsome.

We're an even worse team with him in it...

Also would've avoided the playoffs if a certain someone could hit the side of a barn door
Oh my God, this is why you can't talk with these Ronaldo-tards. This is such an insane slap in the face if you watched those games. We dropped the group on goal difference because a certain striker was missing everything he was fed on a plate, players passing up open goal opportunities to find Ronaldo and he'd still miss from point blank range. In the league, take away all the matchdays Ronaldo started and we're well in the top 4. You see what we have to deal with?

Nope. Just doing an interview like this with Piers Morgan to engineer a move is a slap in the face to everyone.

Bruno has had to sacrifice his place in the pecking order and his role on and off the pitch for Ronaldo's gain and nothing good has come from it for his own benefit.

He constantly has to spam feed him the ball when they're playing together no matter whether its the best move or not like with the NT, for the sake of squad harmony.

Wouldn't be surprised one bit if Bruno didn't enjoy his presence at all. He's so much more productive and efficient when he's not playing with him

Rooney like Sir Bobby Charlton or any of the club legends could decide to lambast Ronaldo for his poor behavior and performances if they wanted. Unlike Ronaldo they are part of the proverbial furnitures.

Exactly, always wise to hear the full thing. I don’t think he comes across badly but then again I’ve never thought he was a Cnut.

He definitely cares about the club, convinced from what I’ve seen.

Also right about how the standards at the club have been allowed to deteriorate. Even if we all knew that somewhat.

You don’t know what has gone on behind the scenes, of course it’s not ideal to do an interview but we’ve seen people agenda posting from day dot.

I’m also struggling tp believe we haven’t followed the latest science on nutrition, like we’re still feeding the lads steak & chips pre-match.
Pretty sure LVG & Mourinho changed loads of that stuff, LVG got plenty changed at Carrington, even fuxking Moyesy got, was it iPads & shit?

If the jacuzzi aint broke, I don’t see the issue. Cause Juve had a newer one? Kin ell, they also have a shit 41,500 seater stadium, should we get one of them too?

This thread has been shocking for it. Anything remotely putting forward Ronaldos side or even saying some of what he’s said is true has been met with accusations of being a ‘fan boy’. Typical internet toxicity of todays age.

Exactly it was not too long ago LVG had new pitches and flood lights and trees installed for wind or something like that.

I’m sure the gym equipment has been updated.

Can I ask an honest question? Nothing irritates me like people using the word “agenda”. Is an agenda not the same as having an opinion and repeating your opinion. Please tell me what the difference between and agenda and an opinion is.

The relevant quotes aren't even in this part of the interview. You think they doctored it and spliced audio on it? What part of tonight changed the tone of those statements?

I couldn’t give one iota what has happened behind the scenes. You manage your business in a certain way. You do this? You’re gone.

If I'm not mistaken the one thing that is kind of accepted is that it's not spacious enough. The rest is nonsense because it's constantly revamped and improved. And as you said all managers have been allowed to suggest and get new equipments.

Yeah I don't think he has any real friends in football either. If you're useful to him he's okay with you, but the minute you're not it's over.

Didn't Benzema confirm the other day he's not received a single message from Ronaldo congratulating him for the Ballon D'or?

If he’s said what is supposed to be said about the manager then he has to go simple as, but I would like to know what has gone on behind the scenes he obviously doesn’t get on with the board or owners.

What context did we get? Obviously you'd have sympathy for what he went through losing his kid but that's irrelevant to the reason people are annoyed with him.

He shat on the young players in an old man shouts at cloud monologue, showed how thin-skinned and easily fooled he is on the Rooney thing. Aside from that he hasn't got to the bad parts yet and we've learned very little on top of what has already been released. I don't really see how part 2 will be any different or soften the blow in any way.

It stretches back to last season. He was on Sky then saying the same sort of stuff.

Not ideal is way too nice to describe this. How hard is it grasp that is fecking unforgivable in every sense and that this has naturally been commented on from the get go. There's actually not a single excuse good enough to defend his decision to take this interview.

On the recovery after game part, LVG asked and got sleep pods, in the new building that Ronaldo hasn't spotted.
