Tbh I think that's what most of us are shocked at. Well, at least I am. Whenever I've watched Romero for Spurs he's looked robust, but nothing special.
The only thing consistent about VAR is it’s inconsistency. On a side really impressed with the Saudi team technically, knew they would match them physically but they’ve improved on the ball.

Maybe just an effort thing so far, but Saudi look far better than Iran or Qatar. Will probably get torn up here as they aren't really trying to stay in a good defensive shape, but more about them going forward at least
There wasn’t really any room for error for interpretation for the Maguire one though. It was more of a rugby tackle than the one given here and against England.
