We have not had a extremely decisive striker since Elkjær. Sand, Jon Dahl, Bendtner have all performed OK. But considering we have relied on Cornelius, Dolberg, Jørgensen, Braithwaite and Poulsen the last 10 years I think we deserve a break there.
Højlund from Atalanta looks promising IMO

It would be a great story, couldn't get a game or a goal for Copenhagen but through Sturm Graz he goes to Italy after scoring loads. Wahid Faghir was also promising once but has lost it a bit seemingly

Sand would have been very good in this team I reckon

That list gets me depressed :(

It's a shame that Dolberg hasn't lived up to his potential. On his day, he is really good, but those days are few and far between.

Ochoa has aged a lot in the last four years. I remember when we were linked with him back in the days when we couldn’t rely on Howard, Barthez and Carroll between the sticks, and he was a teen prodigy keeper.

fecking state of that touch from the Polish player when he’s in on goal there. These early WC games always have really poor play in the last third.

We play ancient brand of football. We are probably the only international side that doesn’t even try to build anything in midfield and bypasses the entire are by kicking it through to Lewandowski. And it’s not even like there is scarcity of Polish midfielders that can play a more modern football (they mostly did not get called up though as we went for dinosaurs).

Appearance wise or goalkeeping ability?

Argentina might have had something to worry about if the other 2 in their group were Denmark/Tunisia but these 2 are nowhere near that level IMO. Both are very .... Not good. Not sure why but Poland always just look so average.
