England are really meh. Absolutely no connections between players. All running on top of each other.

Iran score and this game will go end to end. Am I right in thinking who ever wins this game goes through regardless of the Wales game?

Anyone got any stats. I reckon Maguire has had 1000 meaningless touches already.
Southgate's final words must always be "remember lads, nothing fancy"

Need a second US goal. If you go to the final minutes with 1-0 it's the recipe for disaster

I’m probably wrong in making such a sweeping generalisation, but are North American teams lacking in great goal scorers?

Canada, Mexico and USA have such incredible energy and work rate, but putting the ball in the net is proving difficult. Composure in front of goal seems to desert them. Don’t have the numbers to back it up, but their combined conversion rate for attempts and goals must be pretty low.

Is it because they overload midfield and end up with an isolated forward, or have they just struggled to replace the likes of Chicarito and Donavon?

Because you suck as fans. Don’t want to be told to stop swearing by Americans at a football game.
People swearing all the time at the games i go to. But certain areas of the US are more conservative/family oriented. Have to respect the culture when you travel abroad innit?

Missed this new injury time rule. Can someone please explain it to me? The added time is insane.

Down south...somewhere
Kane is just frustrating the heck out of me. Is he our no. 9 or what because why is he picking the ball up in our half trying to dribble his way through when we have 4 or 5 players ahead of him

Tired of Kane dropping so deep. You're a striker FFS.
Reminds me of late era Rooney. No longer has the legs to keep making the thankless runs a CF at the top of their game makes umpteen times a game.

Easier to come deep and act like it’s the fault of those behind him not creating enough.

Why doesnt southgate just play kane in the number 10 role, the guy seems to prefer playing closer to the midfield than the opponents box

Yep. If either Iran or USA win, they go through. If it's a draw Iran go through, unless Wales win in which case Wales go through instead.

What makes you think it's a North American problem? I think there's a general lack of great goal scorers in the world today

Aye, but he’s playing with Rashford who likes to come inside and run off the last defender. Probably an instruction.

Honestly, we may as well take Henderson off for Wilson and play Kane in his position instead.
