I’ve never even heard of a few of the songs and bloody Coldplay are in the artists. I haven’t listened to Coldplay since whatever year Parachutes came out.

I had my Spotify hacked once, but I only knew because they were using it at the same time I was. They made an arabic hip hop playlist, which skewed my algorithm for weeks.

Not sure there's a way to see if any other devices have used your account, but you can sign out of all devices your account is connected to, and then change your password.

Yeah I’m going to do that now. We were using my account for music in the restaurant for a good while before I got the family sub. I’m pretty sure there’s some staff member past or present who still has the login.

Almost pointless with only 492 minutes. I signed up to Amazon Music Unlimited early in the year as it was cheaper for me.

Most listened to with 3 whole plays was Marshmello & Halsey - Be kind. Think it was on some random dance playlist I used while working out, as were my most listened to artists. Kygo? Don't even know who that is.

N95 was by far and away my most played song this year. Kendrick was my second most played artist though, behind Dadju.
 
I've seen someone listen to 107,000 minutes this year. That's around 4 and a half hours a day.

Of course, but I listen to playlists more.
 
73,979 minutes. 58,146mins of podcasts.

I find the algorithm needs some work as you may just listen to one track from a certain artist over and over throughout the year and that'll be enough to bump them to #1.

I kind of get it though, maybe it should give a diminishing return for only song listened to by that artist , for example. If I listen to 3 Taylor Swift albums 10 times each over the year, but I listen to one Billie Eilish song 500 times, should she be my top artist? Maybe, actually. Not sure...

33k mins, reduction on my usual. In my case, it feels right, because I listen to a lot of electronic/dance but none of those artists made the top 5, whereas the ones I have hammered the albums for are up there. Which is more minutes obviously so makes more sense. You'd have to listen to one song so many more times for it to get in the top 5 artists.

Mine was relatively low at 14,000 minutes. Firstly because we've been back in the office FT since March and secondly because as much as I love Spotify....I love listening to my Vinyl collection more.
