France, then probably Portugal or Spain and then Brazil or Argentina or the Netherlands. That's quite a difficult run.
Yeah whoever prevails fully deserves it,they could do with a surprise result in the next couple of days which looks unlikely.

You're getting to the final imo. After that its just a one off game, good chance to win it.

I’d actually fancy us if it wasn’t the fact it’s France next. If we can get past France then I genuinely think we have a great chance against the rest.

France’s attack with Mbappe and Dembele will be a huge challenge to hold off.
Thankfully France will be saying the same about England's attack, they are top scorers so far, every forward has pretty much got a goal involvement in this tournament and the attacking options from the bench, like Rashford and Grealish are terrifying. Imgine knowing that any time you could be defending against a combination of Foden, Kane, Saka, Grealish, Rashford or Wilson. The midfield combo of Bellingham, Rice and Henderson is pretty intimidating as well.

It's coming home!

England beating France wouldn't be an upset. I don't think some of you realizes how good your team is
Think France win by a couple of goals. No one truly believes England will win it, let alone the whole thing. All tongue in cheek stuff.

That said it’s been an enjoyable little tournament so hopefully we give it a go and finish on a bang.

The English have a habit of publicly totally overhyping the team while privately having a massive inferiority complex driven by past failures! I think France should be at least as worried about us as we are about them.

As far as I'm concerned it's 50-50. England worries me just as I am confident in France

If youse beat France I think England will win it, I don't see any of the other sides beating England. I'm impressed with a lot of the squad and the strength in depth is greater than any other side for me.

Will not be fun as a Scotsman  but genuinely do think the formula is beat France = win the whole thing.

England has more attacking options and a better backline tbh. Upset would have been Poland beating France or Senegal beating England
Agree with our attacking optbeing better with all of Frances injuries.

I would take Frances defenders over ours. Apart from Walker > Kounde/Pavard.

Upamecano/Varane/Konate > Maguire/Stones/Dier.

Theo Hernandez = Shaw at the moment.

Can't see us getting past France. I've a nasty feeling that Bellingham will have a poor game without the time he's gotten on the ball so far, and the thought of Maguire steaming out for a 50/50 that he's never going to get to, leaving a huge gap for Mbappe to run into is concerning. I think French firepower will prove too much for us. 3-1 France.

Depends if England learn from the big warning signs against Senegal, or assume everything is ok because the final result was good. There were big holes in that England Defence in the first half hour, that France's attacking line up would have taken full advantage of. However, if they can take some lessons from that period, then they have a chance.

Whoever wins this game will get to the final I reckon as I don't rate Spain or Portugal that highly tbh. I think both teams have seen better days.
- Quarter Final: Mbappe / France
- Semi Final: Ronaldo / Portugal
- Final: Messi / Argentina

A pretty decent stage for the boys

Only the Argentina result means much there, the other 4 were already qualified and didn't seem to give a feck about the final game. Context matters.
Well that's not true is it. There was about a 4 minute spell after Costa Rica went 2-1 up that both Germany and Spain were going out.

If England makes it to the final then at least the mainland European haters can’t say they got an easy route this time.
As someone who finds the English are always unlucky in tournaments they have my full backing.

Yeah much like Morocco not making the same mistakes against Portugal that we saw from Switzerland

Imagine England winning it. How much would Musiala regret his choice? I think the only reason he picked Germany is because he has a higher chance of silverware over there.

Anyway he is young, he'll get other opportunities.

The intense focus on Mbappe from English fans/pundits has to be amusing for players like Dembele and Griezmann to read. I feel Dembele is due for a big game, and no better place than against England to do it.

Hope Deschamps is working on the alternatives with Griezmann or Rabiot attacking the empty space. I wouldnt be surprised if Mbappe doesnt score but he'll need to be smart and give the ball at the right time.
