In theory I can understand what South Korea have tried to do: They went man for man at the back, committed to a high line and tried to press Brazil.

The problem is Brazil have passers throughout their team. Brazil's centre back and defensive midfielders are better passers than a lot of #8s.

Brazil have played through the press effortless, over and over, which has left the Korean defenders in 1v1 duels that they're always second favourites in.

Unless you have a press that's super effective, playing this way against such a good team of ball players is a little crazy.

Well, that was not an ideal first half but it was kind of expected since we let them score early. They're just 3 levels above us individually and collectivelly. We were able to get a couple of good shots on target so I hope we can get one back.

But they did this against Brazil in June and got pumped 5-1. Why would you try it again? Insanity.

The Koreans needed to park the bus the first 20 minutes and be as physical as the ref would allow. They failed at that and now barring a miracle they’re out

Yeah the idea SK had would actually work against opposition like England, another strong team but one that isn’t good distributing through their CB’s and DM’s. Brazil on the other hand have Silva, Marquinhos, and Casemiro who are all capable of breaking a press with a single pass.

Brazil losing to Cameroon was as much of a guide to their chances as France's defeat to Tunisia.

They are big big favourites for this. Someone will have to play very well indeed to defeat them in this tournament.

The worst than can happen if you play Brazil in a WC knockout match is conceding very early goal, especially if you are no-big nation.

Scoring first against Brazil is always vital

It's really not fair Korea played a Portugal B team and sneaked through on 4 points when Ghana and Uruguay had to play Portugal's first XI.

I want them to dance for every celebration, then have Antony come on and do the spins.....Neymar to score too with an R9 6 step over finish
