He's repeatedly been very clear and aware of our frailties post game (even when we've got the result), even when it's easy to gloss over and give compliments. Love it.

Tonight's game was weird, we were 'comfortable' but they had quite a few attempts at our goal and had multiple chances to play better balls as we were open in transition. Great result but like the game, it was against really poor opposition.
Agree with all of this.

This narrative needs to die. Whenever we get a good win now, instead of praising the team, this pops up. Teams don't rack up 6's and 7's every week. It's a good win, gets us 3 points and we kept a clean sheet whilst dominating the game, playing how we want to play and rotating.
I’m not sure what you mean, did you mean to quote me?

I’m reading the comments just now, I must have seen a different game. This was attacking football of high quality. De Gea had great saves that’s what he is in goal for.

Good win. In control 1st half, 2nd half was shaky after Shaw's goal but De Gea made few good saves and then it looked like we took control again. Nice evening.

Not our best game but still a comfortable win.
Mostly because of the quality of players like Rashford, Casemiro, Eriksen and Shaw. Our attack needs improving however. Rashford is the only one that looks dangerous atm.

Bruno is working hard as always but nothing happens for him, his confidence is shot. Martial is playing decent but far too little happens for him. Garnacho is not feeling it atm but did well on a couple of occasions at least.
Elanga is not up to much

We need Jadon to come back flying here asap, we also need to find a striker this month.

This is it, I want to be entertaint. First half was decent but boring, I almost fell asleep during the last 10min. 2nd half my eyes were wide open.I saw passion and fun on the pitch.
It’s a matter of what you want from games I guess

Get in there.

Feels like a good old fashioned routine win somehow.

Shaw and Casemiro were fabulous.

Rashford scoring again is great.

Bruno wasn't terrible. Maybe excellent was a bit over the top but Bruno delivered some key moments, particularly for the third goal.
He always takes up great positions, always looking to make things happen. I thought Maguire did well too, good to see. Were a good few breakaway moments, when the decision making wasnt the best, but still a great 3 0 against poor opposition. Also we should remember that Dave got us out of jail a couple of times.

I came here to celebrate, the thread is ruined by ignorant, negative people. Too many newbies with zero clue. And non newbies too.

The amount of chances we concede is a problem. We also had the same issue against Bournemouth. Probably due to the fact that we don't have our first choice defence playing.

Pretty sure we have a potentially world class talent in Garnacho. Kid is routinely the most dangerous player on the pitch when he comes on and his technique is absolutely sublime. I'm surprised more people aren't gushing over him to be honest.

Bruno was terrible overall what game were you watching ??
Just got back. Agree Bruno was well below par for the first 80 minutes. He keeps losing possession by trying flicks without knowing who is behind him. Surely the coaches should
No it wouldn't, De Gea made some standard saves really. Plus it was the chuckle brothers back there so considering we did well.
Chuckle brothers? Laurel and Hardy more like.

Good team performance. It's good to have a reasonably competent second string defence, so well done to them. We need a striker in this window without question. I'm a bit baffled by the Viva Ronaldo chants.
It’s viva Garnacho

Great result whilst resting some players and with a few out injured. These mid week games at this time of the year is just about getting the 3 points, dosent have to be great footy all the time. It felt like they got away with a lot of Fouls today, was worried we’d get more injuries with some of their challenges.

The most pleasing aspect of tonight for me is the changes Erik made to the starting lineup made no material difference to the way we played. Likewise all the subs didn’t affect the game much - the lads off the bench shone when they came on.
Erik and his team have the whole squad on board now, they are all on the same page and pulling together. It’s really good to see.

Martial is not good enough as a 9. Every miss makes me think Giroud or Depay would be better in there.

Casemiro might be our best signing of the past decade.

Besides whats already been said about the obvious motm shaw and cas, i just want to reiterate again how much i admire Bruno's ability to have a shit game and still get an assist. Our most important player in the last few years, and some of you wanting him benched are fecking nuts

Hes the ideal player for ETH style. We break up play and counterattack fast. We are not a fecking tiki taka team, and ETH doesn't give a f*** about dominating midfield with 300 sideway passes and having 80% posession. Bruno compliments Cas and eriksen so well as the final midfielder/striker to touch the ball before a foward player, which is what ETH is about. bruno is never gonna slow down and play some boring safe sidepass, hes a robot who only cares about getting the ball to the rival goal asap. If you don't accept it, you're missing our player who contributes the most in the final third.

He is immovable in our first XI. Deal with it

A comfortable 3-0 win with Lindelof and Maguire at the back is definitely something not to be sniffed at.

Got better as the game wore on due to Bournemouth having to get forward so we could hit them on the break which is still our strength.

Your point is well made but he does lose possession far too often for a player of his class. The attempted Hollywood flick off the outside of his right foot leads to the opposition retrieving the ball nine times out of ten - and it happens far too often inside the United half. Keep doing that against the dark side on Jan 14th and the giddy 'are we in a title race?' posts will soon evaporate.
