City's xG only 0.65.

One of the best defensive performances I can remember from the last few seasons.

They really didn't create much at all.
Defensively we were excellent, although I would accept the Grealish goal. We should have scored in 1st half, and City CB is not that reliable, great that we capitalise on their weakness.

We looked dead and buried. Great character, great quality. Garnacho is a seriously good talent - we don't get back into that without him.

We defended high up the pitch which made sure City didn't really get a look. Annoyingly, they create one quality chance and it goes in. But, that was a great turnaround. What a turn from Garnacho for the 2nd goal.

Ecstatic. EtH completely outplayed the hairless conman. Players never gave in, stuck to the plan and were rewarded. Super proud of the team and a statement to Ten Hag's credentials.

Huge win. I have no clue how that was not offside

I thought that as well , but according to the ref in the studio a recent rule change makes it a perfectly good goal and correct decision.

Anyway , what a win.

All of you lot in the match thread saying we're miles off city and they're toying with us need to have a look at yourselves
Yeh spot on, they were just the better team for a little period of the match, that happens in nearly every big game, not a surprise.

No way should Bruno's goal have stood but I'll take it, feck you Citeh

Fred MOTM he was superb, pressed them relentlessly throughout. Reminded me of a classic Park Ji Sung performance.

Bluemoon going to be fun.

Garnacho

Shaw

And Bruno, playing brilliantly; he will always find a way to make it count.

EtH a proper manager.

Happy Saturday everyone
Fixed it to make some sense

Old Trafford seemed to be rocking in the latter stages. You see it with Arsenal now and you're starting to see it with us when the fans believe in the team and start to grow a real connection with them.

United are still a flawed side and a way off the top teams, I mean City are nowhere near their best and we couldn't get near them for 25 minutes in that 2nd half, but maybe for the first time since Ferguson it feels like a serious team is being built and we have a class manager who is still getting better rather than being past his best.

Missed big parts of this, but listening to Eirik Bakke saying City dominated second half. What do the forum say?
No. They had one chance that they scored from and looked more lively than the first half but they still did feck all. We looked more dangerous every time we broke.

They probably had the better of the game for about 20 mins and that was it.

Ffffaarrking yeeeeeeeeessss!!!!!!!!!

If Rashford had touched the ball it would have been offside, but if he hadn't been there the ball would still have reached Bruno, so not offside (maybe)
