Very well deserved win for Brighton. Especially after a few bad fouls from the decidedly average scousers.

Fecking delighted. Refs and VAR trying to put the cnuts through. I'd say they were looking for the slightest chance to disallow that goal.

Dount we'll have as much outrage from the media like there was with Bruno's goal.

Another nothing performance for Gakpo and Nunez.
Gakpo probably just hoping they draw Sparta Rotterdam in next year's Conference League so he can look a player again for 90 minutes at this stage.

Imagine trying to hack Brighton to pieces and still losing.

Liverpool being absolute dirty cnuts there show their heads have gone. Could and should have been 3 red cards in the last ten minutes. They’ve had it, fully cooked and only won one league trophy that comes with a Covid star.

Now feck off back to mid table

The fury on here if var had disallowed that winner!!

But justice served. Potentially 3 reds and none given. Disgraceful stuff.

You have to admire Brighton, they just seem to take any problems in their stride and keep right on going, speaks to the structure and ethos they've put in place there.

Don't sign old players and cast offs
I usually hate tossers that go on about referees but I can't help it this time, that was one of the worst displays I've seen. Once Liverpool realised they had a free pass they were fouling left right and centre, and in a way I can't blame them, but that ref had a shocker.

I haven't been watching, just looked at the BBC live text updates occasionally

Someone just said: £4.9m for Mitoma from J1 side Kawasaki Frontale. Brighton's scouting network is unreal.

Food for thought there, maybe

1. Get in!!!!!

2. The most criminally inept refereeing/VAR performance I’ve witnessed as a Brighton fan.

Apparently Chelsea have stolen all the brains behind the Brighton scouting set up so they can replicate it and spend 100s of millions on household names.

Its the way forward.

No doubt Kloppo will be doing the hard done by routine. He can never admit his team were just shite.
He was quoted a day or two ago as saying things have changed, it's no longer just City and us (i.e. them, Liverpool)

Slightly wrong, it's just City and other teams, not including Liverpool

After a while with a transfer blockade they seem to by buying someone every day at the moment

Perhaps before the rules change about their ultra long contract amortisation trick

Well I'm glad that Utd will hopefully be drawn against Macalister, Ferguson, Caicedo and Mitoma instead of Fabinho, Trent, Salah and Gakpo. :nervous: :wenger:

Sigh. Just need Madrid to put us out of our misery. Amazing how we’ve gone from competing for everything in one season to looking like we won’t even finish in the top six the next.

I think Fabinho might be finished at Liverpool.

Liverpool is a disgrace. They are awful as a football-team, which I don't mind. But they compensate for their failures by having some of the worst tackles I have seen in the P.L all season. And the f...VAR let them get away with it

I don’t think there’s ever been such a drastic drop of I can recall?

Very strange

He is not the only one - add Henderson, Trent, Milner, Keita, Salah (who in terms of quality isn't finished, but who looks like he doesn't want to be there) and Gomez (he is probably the worst of them all - in terms of quality)

Honestly? I haven't watched a single moment of the game. Thankfully I yet again decided to do the shopping than watch our shite.

But I've been reading comments here, and on an LFC site. It seems the red cards are pretty clear cut. Not sure what the refs and VAR are/were thinking in that case. Maybe the FA desperately wanted LFC in the next round for a big tie. Who knows.

When you think Liverpool only made it to round 4 the amount of dodgy decisions and mad luck they had in this seasons FA Cup is insane.

Their 2nd goal against Wolves was bollocks, and Wolves had a late winner wrongly ruled out and then today they genuinely should have had 2 or 3 red cards.

The arse falls out of Chelsea fairly regularly (including this season). Went from winning the league one year to being 10th the next in 2015 or so.
