Please be a serious fecking club and get someone in. I am so sick of this ownership and leadership. I know it’s going to change before the end of the season but that doesn’t mean they get a free pass.

Ouch. This is bad news and I didn't expect that length of absence.

If we can't get a deal done today, will Mejbri return as an option at the very least?

Again there's no indication that it was due to fatigue. So it's something beyond anyone's control but Andy Carrot the big dumb idiot talentless yeehaw donkey.
If he was rested against Reading, there's no guarantee he won't get injured in any other game due to another player tackling him. Basically we need depth. Relying on Eriksen for a full season was never realistic. Next season we need to start the season expecting him to get injured at some point aka MORE DEPTH.
Getting a knock in ANY game is 1 thing, not taking the chance to rotate is another.

if it was City on League both legs, Chelsea on FA, then I can understand why ETH needs full strength, although I still disagree with him on priority. Rotation is a matter of fact, when you are fighting on 4 fronts, with 2 games every week. Remember these players are international as well, so 50 Club games + 10 international games

Press reporting “at least until late april” im shocked he wasnt even limping when he went off.
I do hope Andy Carroll is proud of himself the useless twunt.
Huge loss for us. Probably too late to get a play making midfielder in now.

10 days off is probably too much for some players to keep rhythm, especially if they are fully fit. Or would you have wanted to play Eriksen against Forest on Wednesday?

Fred is an ok replacement and even better in some games. The problem is if he gets even a slight injury, we would've zero options in that position.

A midfield signing is a must but it won't happen because the Glazers don't give a feck anymore.

If Murtough and his chums had any sense they'd have been preparing for this situation since Saturday night, have worked on the Board to get an agreement to bring someone in given it's basically an emergency now, and have already started on bringing someone in.

Meanwhile in the real world...

Awful news, compounded by the fact that the club probably knew about this a day or two ago and most likely have done bugger all to try and do anything about it.

If I'm ETH I'd be raging.

You’re constantly banging on about this. His age, amount of games and lack of rotation has absolutely nothing to do with this.
He was snapped by a big gormless twat, which could’ve happened in any match.
My point is, it didn’t just happen in any game, it was an unneeded risk to take playing him in arguably our easiest fixture for the foreseeable future, given how many other first teamers were also starting. Some of you lot would have had a fit at the amount of rotation SAF did then.

Arsenal trying all window to get a midfielder because Elneny is injured.

We are worse in midfield than them before this and don’t even try.

Ah feck that’s a major blow. An emergency midfield signing is very much need now but won’t happen.

Also, I hope that dirty, horse face cnut gets what’s coming to him. Absolutely vile character.

A player like Eriksen wouldn't lose rhythm that easily, 30 minutes against Forest wouldn't have hurt either.

Disaster for us. Shouldn't have played.
That is absolutely not the problem. Could have happened in any game. There was nothing wrong with the decision to give him an hour considering he wouldn’t have been playing until the next weekend. Drop that thought.

They are incompetent at the highest levels. Any serious board would have already got a deal lined up when Donny was injured. The fact that they did nothing about it and now will probably do nothing even after the Eriksen news.

Zero forward planning.

Sickening our season could seemingly be derailed by a thug like Carroll who was determined to injure one of our players. We really need another body in midfield as we're short now and everything could be over by end of April. Shame for Christian as he had come in and done so well. We can't afford any more injuries now.

Yes. I agree Ten Hag should have rested him because he's played a lot, at least sub him after the first half.
But my point still stands, you go into a match knowing one of the players can get injured (or more if you're unlucky) and it can be anyone. It's basically a random chance that you can't plan ahead.
Regretting it is kinda pointless, it's like saying "if only I bought the lottery ticket a bit earlier I could have won it". You can't be deterministic towards something that is random.

Doubt we are getting anyone in since we are briefing today. Seems like a stupid move to let everyone know that you are desperate.

It's like you have to draw it for some to understand.

Massive blow. We are now a Casemiro or Rashford injury away from our season ending in complete disaster. With Russo’s future looking uncertain both the mens and womens seasons could end very badly.

Right now, if I say anything about Carroll, I would be in trouble.

Can't plan if you have little to no money.

The club is being sold in a matter of months. Why can't anyone get their head around the fact that the owners won't spend anything as they're selling up shop pretty soon. Nothing to do with Murtough and 'his chums' - the owners won't give them any money to fecking spend.

Not even loan deals? Not a single loan deal across Europe?

fecking genius taking a risk on him in a game against reading. I'm sure people are going to come tell me that ETH knows more about football than me and why he's right not to rotate but feck me, he's 31, has played non stop, if it wasn't against reading, who would he be rested against? Of course given our luck, he would get that injury in the one game he was crying out to be rested in.
The Nottingham Forest tie where we have a three goal lead. Injuries happen, it's an unfortunate reality of the game. We were never challenging for a title with this squad. The gaffer needs time to build depth in the squad and that cannot happen in just one window. I think the plan all along was to get him off at the 60 min mark and then save his legs in that next tie. If you wanna be mad at anyone, be mad at Carroll...he's such a twat.

Need the gaffer to hit up Bayern for his mate Gravenberch on loan until the end of the season now
