Would you take Mbappe if given the chance?

Of course. If a player of Mbappe's class is attainable, then you find a way of fitting him in. Simple as that really.

MBappe Rashford Antony
Bruno Cas New CM

Antony to keep the width as he does, with Bruno as the mezzala, Cas holding and a midfield playmaker. This would effectively become a 442 in possession, with Rashford and Mbappe interchanging.

Mbappe Rashford
Bruno Cas CM Antony

YES! You know who else annoys teammates? Every other BITW candidate at one point or another. There's a certain level a footballer gets to where if it makes sense in a sporting sense, you deal with the personality drawbacks if there are any. Mbappe makes any team he's on an instant contender in the league and in Europe, including us.
Yeah honestly think he's that elite level player who you can make exceptions for, maybe little bit like Eric had from Fergie but probably never gonna happen anyway

I don't think he wants to play as a 10, he prefers playing in a fluid front 3 and having the ability to drop deep when he wants, exactly what Ten Haag asks from his 9.
The issue he has with Galtier is that he has to play as a traditional pivot 9, leaving playmaking to Messi and Neymar.
I thought he wanted a #9 like Giroud in front of him? The quotes weren't super clear though if I recall correctly.

Why that ? The guy came back from World Cup just 2 days after the final. He is very professional and driven.
PSG is a drama club and always have been, even without their new status.
If some players were upset to be playing with one of the best in the world because he makes more money then they are not fit to play here. If they want more money they should earn it on the pitch.

Ronaldo’s attitude was a problem only because he was finished and making tantrums because not being first name in the team sheet. If he was any good there would have been no problems. He was always like that but that wasn’t a problem because he was one of the best. It only caused problems when he was being deluded about his performances.

Do you really think this guy could not play for United ? You should need a reality check about our situation. Ten Hag would never say no to Mbappé, he will be our best player immediately. We are not Burnley needing a defensive winger ffs. We are United, and are always looking for the best attacking talents.
Yeah he was back at PSG quickly I will give him that because after losing easy to want nothing to do with Football after such a disappointing loss

No way, he'd block Januzaj's development......or something.

Title says it all: Imagine new owner comes in and promises to bring Mbappe to Old Trafford as a statement signing, would you take him?

Mbappe would instill fear in the PL defenders. But he may come with certain baggage like huge salary, big ego and extreme scrutiny from the press. Would we be ready to accommodate all of that to have Mbappe on the starting lineup?

Would he be a disruption in the dressing room (Sanchez, Ronaldo…etc) or he would form a lethal partnership with Rashford (The modern York-Cole)? Which way will it swing?

:lol::lol:

This is like the equivalent of asking would you like to win the lottery if you had the opportunity?

PSG have never won the CL and only reached the final once in a soulless empty stadium. And PSG had better players than United currently do. It’s a team game.

Well, I don't hate the question. Would be a giant fee + wages and I don't think him and Rashford are such a great fit together.

He’s probably the best player in the world but, just when the United dressing room is under control again, I’d be wary of bringing in someone with such a large ego (if reports are true). As they say, there’s no “I’ in “équipe”.

One of the best. Actually hasn't been great for PSG this season.

Yes, I would take the best player in the world. The better question would be, why would Mbappe choose United over Madrid?

Mbappé would be made to look average by the standard of the Premier League with each team having a champions league winning defence

100% sign him.
Rashy can't play every game, so it'd be good to have some decent cover to come in for the Bournemouth Home, and minor cup type games

I don’t understand United fans not rating talents. This club is what it is because of talent, attacking football. Who cares about attitude ? It’s not like our best players were angels with no character : Cantona, Keane, Ronaldo, even Best probably.

And some people not wanting Mbappé because he dare to have a personality or because he won’t defend enough. Makes me laugh.

Madrid will just buy him and be back to the best team of the world status because they are interested in talents.

Imagine the two with Kane in the middle feeding them while they are at full speed. We will be unstoppable.

Mbappé, while ridiculously good, has been known to consistently fall out with team mates and annoy them. You really want a player like that in the team?
No he hasn't? Where is this coming from?

EDIT: Both Lloris and Varane mentioned him being a great potential new captain of the French squad after retiring recently.

Yeah absolutely, although if it would take wages that had him paid 3 times more than our other high earners then I would understand how that could been seen as a potential problem.

Because we are probably going to be owned by the Qataris and the Qataris have him by his giant French balls.

No. His ego would be bad for our dressing room, would rather we went out and found the next Mbappe and hopefully help him to keep his feet on the ground.

This has to be one of the most daft threads I have ever seen. Would you take probably the best player in the world right now? I think that's a solid yes for any team.
AND still in his prime, for years to come. Not someone at 36 years old still pretending to be the best.
