Roma's scoring records are really embarrassing this season. 29 goals in 22 games and I'm pretty sure the majority of them were from set pieces. That's truly an awful record.

The rest of the top 6 teams in Serie A have scored +37 goals.
What do you expect under mourinho.

Hojlund seems promising, his notoriety should start to grow by a sizable margin in the near future.

Should be someone we consider, could be the next Haaland and he’s only 20.
Absolutely. Though I am a big fan of Osimhen, I think we could be priced out of that move.

If we were looking at Sesko and have rightly moved on from him, Hojlund looks a lot more ready

They outscored Juventus last season despite finishing 2 places behind and missing top 4 by 7 points... Now they are 9 goals behind their scoring record of 21/22.. But point-wise they are much better (on track to get 8 points better).. Still very well in the battle for top 4..

29 goals from 36.1 xG. They are supposed to be the 3rd or 4th best attack in the league, their finishing is putrid

Watching Juve va Fiorentina. Haven’t watched Serie A in quite a while. I know Juve moved to a new stadium in 2011, one which is a lot smaller than their previous stadium (just 41,507); so I am shocked watching this to see that is half empty. And that’s no exaggeration. There are huge swathes of empty seats.

Is it always like this? I know Italian football has had massive problems with attendances in recent years, but I thought Juve would be able to fill a 40k seater stadium. But it doesn’t look like there are more than 30k people there. And even that feels generous.

Edit: Fiorentina equalise with two minutes to go. Silencing the Juventus fan.

Edit 2: The Juve fan is cheering again, as the Fiorentina goal has been disallowed after the referee ran pitch side to pick up his brown envelope.

Guy in offside position when the cross came in interfered with play. Correct decision.
Did he really interfere? He tried but didn’t get there… and there is a clearance by a Juve player. The clearance normally starts another action in which Fiorentina scores…

No I don’t think so. Juventus had around 39k before the pandemic, and similar numbers last year once the cap was lifted. But Serie A games for Juventus are basically meaningless now. They won’t get relegated and they can’t qualify to Europe via the league…

It will be interesting to see how many attends their Coppa semifinal vs Inter and their Europa games, even though mid week games have always been less full at Juventus as they have more fans outside Turin City and the weekends favours those fans from other Italian cities.

Come on, he’s pulling Locatelli.

In situations where:
  • a player moving from, or standing in, an offside position is in the way of an opponent and interferes with the movement of the opponent towards the ball this is an offside offence if it impacts on the ability of the opponent to play or challenge for the ball; if the player moves into the way of an opponent and impedes the opponent's progress (e.g blocks the opponent) the offence should be penalised under Law 12
He's the reason Locatelli has to clear it while sitting on his arse. You can't seriously claim that isn't interfering with play.

@Pintu Why so pessimistic? There is more than enough room for Juventus to make up for the current deficit and qualify via the league. We're talking of four qualifying slots within 12 points atm, no more than four matchdays in an ideal-to-them world.
Two of them are catchable, I'd reason, and Lazio in particular, as they play without impact subs, and may want to go after silverware in the conf league (where they meet Cluj next). One crucial injury and they'll quickly be mid-table (which is also where they belong).
It's not that Juve play in a manner that screams for it, mind you, but there's plenty of football ahead, no?

59 points out of 66

Going for the 102 points record, nevermind winning the league

Definitely want Napoli to win the CL. Would make it even better if Juve get relegated in the same season an Italian team finally wins it again after nearly 20 years.

Wouldn't it be just 13 years?

Why so pessimistic?
Besides the 15 points penalty for the "plusvalenze" case (which could still be revoked in appeal), Juventus is still under investigation for worse accounting fraud (60 millions of wages that the players formally renounced during covid that have been subsequently paid off-the-book).
Decision on indictment will be taken early March.
If this go to trial, rumors are that prosecutors will ask for 20 more points penalty at the very least, or even for straight relegation.
Players involved also risk being banned for months.

As of now, nobody can be sure of how it will end, but certainly these aren't the best conditions for the team to focus on grinding points to climb back up the table.

Generally the attendance at Juve is good with 91% occupancy. Serie A average 72% (Ligue 1: 73%, LaLiga: 75%, Bundesliga: 92%, PL: 98%)

First game in a while, doesn't seem like he missed his teammates.

Napoli 15 points clear with 16 games left, basically they have to lose 5 games more than 2nd place and hope for them to win all and it still might not be enough to better them.

false.
not paid off-the-books
stop spreading bullshit.
Read Juventus press release.
4months waived IF Serie A season 2019-2020 didn't restart else they would deal with players to pay them.
Which happened ABOVE THE TABLE next sporting season since Serie A restarted in July or August (don't remember)
So how about you stop bullshitting?
specially when Inter coudn't pay wages for 6months and risked points deduction and to pay them you had to ask for a loan at 10% from Goldmansachs or whatever.

OH and Consob claims that Juventus still had to write those wages in 2019-2020 season books
That's the whole thing.
Where did you read your stuff???

UNDERSTANDING WITH THE PLAYERS AND THE COACH OF THE FIRST TEAM
Turin, 28 March 2020 - Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that, due to the current global health emergency is
preventing the performance of the sporting activity, it has reached an understanding with the players and the coach of
the First Team regarding their compensation for the residual portion of the current sport season.
The understanding provides for the reduction of the compensation for an amount equal to the monthly wages of March,
April, May and June 2020. In the coming weeks, personal agreements with the players and the coach will be finalised,
as required by the current regulations.
The economic and financial effects of the understanding reached are positive for about EUR 90 million in the
2019/2020 financial year.
Should the current season's matches be rescheduled, the Club will negotiate in good faith with the players and the
coach conditional increases of compensations according to the actual resumption and finalisation of official
competitions.
Juventus would like to thank the players and the coach for their commitment at a difficult time for everyone.

Absolutely no right to score there Osimhen

Sign him up
7th in 7 straight games... He's beaten Higuain's record for Napoli and is now going after the league's record: Batistuta and CR7 who scored in 11 straight... Jamie Vardy has the PL record with 11... And Messi scored in 21 ( ) consecutive games in la Liga (Osimhen ain't beating that... Maybe Haaland next year ).
