Basically how worried are you that the new owners will be all Todd Boehly about things?

Deciding from the outset they want their own man and forcing the best man for the job out?
Signing Galatico signings and forcing the manager to deal with it?
Potentially paying huge salaries and upsetting the current harmony?

ETH is clearly building something and while he needs backing in the transfer windows the new owners I hope take a back seat and leave on the pitch matters to the bald headed beauty

You never know with billionaires.

Some may be sensitive and understand who should be at the head of their projects
Some may be assholes who got everything on a silver plate in their lives, and treat every project as a child with his toys

well see

I'm deeply worried. Petrified even. Starting to think we might be better off with the Glazers?

Any new owner would be cutting their own throat if there was any suggestion of removing ETH or trying to force players on him he doesn't want.

Fans would be absolutely fuming as I know I would be, it would be a disastrous move.

Don’t think there’s such a thing as galatico signings in 2023.
The go to is Mbappe but who else is there to lay claim to that?
It’s all very system oriented in this day and age so Football is slightly more uniform in its approach

If we get one of those hedge fund based owners, I’m worried because they tend to like micromanaging and getting involved at every chance in whatever small piece they own.

Not worried at all as there’s nothing to worry about it. Deal with that if it comes, but it’s clear to anyone with a brain that he’s the reason we’ve risen so rapidly.

Maybe not Galatico in name but obviously Boehly has tried as near as damn it to do it with the likes of Enzo and Mudryk

No worries personally. Anyone can see ETH has a ton of potential. It’s a massive headache removed from the owner perspective.

Not worried in the slightest and find it odd that it’s a thing

New owners would have to be genuinely insane to go against EtH. Admittedly, quite a few billionaires are…

I can see a future with ETH, if the new owners are sensible and back him. I am pretty sure that we will rule another decade. They shouldn't shuffle everything like how Boehly is doing at Chelsea.

Whoever takes over can surely see this guy has effectively revolutionized the football side (in comparison to where we've been since Fergie retired).

They would be mad to disturb that. All they have to do is bankroll it further within the rules, and back it up with the best facilities possible.

He knows what he's doing.

It depends on the individual. Most owners aren't incentivized to rock the boat when the club is successful and winning trophies (or on the verge of being so).

I am deeply worried. Everythig above ETH is going to change. The thing about these billionaires, many of them think they know it all. If they compromise ETH in any way, this man will walk.

Not worried in the slightest. This is not a Todd Boehly situation. Assuming its the Qataris, they will give him the money and leave him to make the buying decisions. I'd even argue that ETH is an owner's dream. A good stable manager that saves them a ton of money in salaries and payouts trying to find a long-term manager.

That's the main difference between owning a club for business vs spending 5b+ on a shiny toy.

I don't think ETH will be shifted immediately, but I'd never feel safe. If he doesn't win the league next season after being backed, could see that being it.

That’s the extreme, I also think somethings up there. Aren’t they contractually obliged to spend a certain amount on transfers etc when they took over? It looks to me as if they’re owners there to flip a distressed asset as Chelsea was at the time. Wouldn’t surprise me to see them sold again in a couple of years

ETH is bold but also equally humble. It will only take a real mad man to fall off with him. I don’t worry a single bit.

Not worried at all. Even if the new owners go all Boehly on him with transfers, I expect Ten Hag to find a path to success. He has shown that he can find solutions with what he has. And if the owners replace him while we are playing well, then I expect every match at Old Trafford being called off due to protests.

Very worried. Rich people want shiny things. The moment we hit a snag, worried if he would be given time. Or they would just pay for the next big name Zidane etc.

I'm very worried. I've long seen ETH as the star man for us after what he did with Ajax. He's been doing an incredible job so far and ahead of schedule. We've been waiting 9-10 years for such a man to manage us and we finally have it.

He still needs support but it has to be a good balance.

We've seen what marketing signings can do like Ronaldo.

I hate to bring up comparisons, people have used it for anyone to be given time. ETH at Ajax and Fergie at Aberdeen shown they're worth sticking with and hiring in the first place. Top caliber managers on a mission.

I worry about this too. He's brought so much stability to the club and the last thing we need is a meddling billionaire.

See in the post match presser ETH was told the fans want him in charge regardless of new owner. Thats massive public backing that will be noted

Not worried at all. The biggest problem for United has been giving too much time to the manager. I hope that the new owners are ruthless and do not accept mediocricity (something that Glazers accepted). If ten Hag does not deliver, he has to go. I think he will deliver, but only time will tell. The last 4 managers were kept for 6 months longer than they should have.

He’s the best manager (with the best staff team) that we could have got. No owner is going to dispose of that. The only thing is if he gets given a load of money in the summer and things go south what will fans think then? Or if there’s an Mbappe put on him like Ronadlo with Ole. It could undo the good work. I think we are 2/3 of the right kind of motivated signings away from being a top CL team again. It’s so close!

You only need to take one look at the Boehly model to think "nah, that's a shite way to run a club" so I'm not overly concerned that anyone else will try to do it unless they're secretly a Scouser trying to infiltrate United.
