Really liked the Jay White Vs. Hikuleo match from NJPW. Loser leaves Japan

Jay White is a great, not always spectacular heel which is really good for the face because the face should be the exciting one. I dont know where he's going but it does look like he's leaving with his NJPW contract up and losing this match. He looks good, can talk and is good in the ring so I would imagine he could have a top 3 or so spot in WWE or AEW wherever he wants to go and being a title challenger.
There was a rumour that Jay White would be in the rumble I recall, so him joining WWE is a good chance I'd say. Debut the night after wrestlemania with a really smarky crowd attacking new champ Cody or Sami is a way to make a white hot heel and allow Roman to take time away to be Hollywood...?

What a reaction from the crowd.

Amazing. God knows why they ever took Worlds Apart away in the first place. One of the best wrestling themes ever. Although it did give us that moment.

Sami's and Roman's entrances tonight are gonna be historic in terms of crowd reaction.

I really want Zayn to win. It just feels right (then again I thought that about McIntyre at clash at the castle)

Guessing roman wins similar fashion and the plan is still Cody? Interested to see if they go the straight line with this or have a few swerves up their sleeve to hold on to this momentum

I reckon it will be Roman. I’ve gone for the following prediction:

Zayn pins Roman and we all think he’s won as the Montreal crowd goes wild only until there is a replay shown on the titantron that Roman’s foot was directly under the rope which the ref didn’t see at the time. So the match needs to be replayed and Roman wins via pinfall/submission with help from Jey Uso which we think at the time he has come to help Sami rather than his cousin.

That sets up Roman vs Cody at Mania obviously but the Usos vs Sami & Owens for the tag titles at Mania too.

The presentation of these shows don’t feel like PPV’s anymore. Not sure what it is, not sure if it’s because everything looks so polished and bright.

Looks like it will be Brock Vs Lashley at Wrestlemania then.

Feck knows where Jey Uso just disappeared to after being speared.

Men’s elimination chamber match was the best of the night.

Saw the second half of this live.

The men's elimination match was really good. Everyone in it looked like a star. Particularly impressed with Montez Ford.

The main event was hot but just like every other Roman Reigns match I've ever seen. The referee being knocked out/ uso inference schtick is eye rollingly predictable now.

I take back my criticism of having an elimination chamber match for the US title. The match was nuts and half those guys wouldn't have been in it if it was for the world title. Felt like it belonged on an AEW PPV, and in a good way...and comes off a lot better when you're not expecting it and it doesnt feel quite so much like youre watching on fast forward.

Main event was meh. People can defend the whole angle all they want but all that Sami momentum wasted on yet another generic Reigns title defence match. Bunch of finishing moves, ref knocked out, interference, Roman wins. Not even a dranqtic betrayal or twist of any kind. Absolute waste of about 6 months of story telling. Even the Jay Uso thing...if the plan was to make it about him and Sami then they've killed that now as well. He quite literally didn't do anything.

Agree with the above.... when you have a storyline this hot, the only payoff is the title, at WM... not only have they legit undercut that and created it a no-go from the off with the Cody stuff, they've now, yeah, killed anything remotely possible with Jey that makes plausible sense, I mean a random spear clearly not intended for him is gonna be the catalyst for the tag team match?

Just caught up to watching the chamber and it was very good. The mens chamber match did very well in showcasing the newish call ups and Montez Ford.

The main event was enjoyable but KO's run in at the end felt very flat to me. Why didn't he just run in during the referee stoppages or am I missing something storywise? So curious to see how they take it now to WM

I was fully expecting Jay to aim a chair at Roman then turn round and hit Sami instead, which would have still been mega lame and predictable, but would at least a t have made sense in terms of building the fued and him choosing his family over Sami. Then the KO coming in to save Sami thing would have worked a lot better as well. Now it just feels to me like they've killed off the whole thing, and the match was just clash at the castle again where they overdo it to try and manufacture some drama over Romsn possibly not winning when there was 0% chance of that happening.

Also the Lasley vs Brock thing still makes no sense. They'll probably fight again at mania now which would be 4 matches in a fued based on literally nothing. Who is even meant to be the face/heel? One week Laslwy is hiding behind security guards and cheapshottong Lesnar, the next Lesnar is low blowing Lasley to cheat his way out of a loss. Now Bray Wyatt is for some reason possibly involved. I'm completely lost  how is it meant to be interesting if you don't know what's going on or why?

Just finished chamber, overall a good ppv with a hot crowd.

Roman is a star but the problem with his run is they obviously don't want him losing before mania and as they had Cody pencilled in they didn't change plans when momentum Seems to point to Sami should have won it at mania.

Wm 30 the plan was for Batista to return, win the rumble and face orton. Plans changed and Daniel Bryan ended up winning the title. Really think they should have gone with something similar here.

The main event was fun but again same as clash at the castle as expected.
Both chamber matches were great.

Wm however looks like it could have some fantastic matches.

Asuka/Bianca should be great.
Rhea beating Charlotte hopefully.
Seth/Logan should be a spectacle.

(Becky doesn't have a match so wondering if they go with Ronda)
Also theory / Cena has been hinted quite a bit too.

I'm interested to see how they play the whole Sami/Owens/usos thing especially with jey refusing to do the deed again. Jimmy being there was actually a shock for me

Jay White should go to whichever company wants to use him as soon as possible as their #2 heel. 2nd to Roman or MJF and no less. Wouldnt be too excited to see him doing Judgement Day or Jericho appreciation society level stuff

Pre sale for MiTB is tomorrow

Not very confident on getting a ticket but I’ll try

Gutted Sami didn’t win at the weekend. Sometimes in wrestling I feel plans need to change and Sami winning the title on Saturday in his hometown would have been an all time moment and pop

Keeping the title in Roman so he can lose it to Cody in 4 weeks seems ridiculous after the momentum they built with Sami

It’s only if you want a combo ticket right?

Yep.
I went to the clash, and am having a wedding a week after the MITB event, which is draining my funds, so ill probably avoid the combo if its a huge price. I'll probably look to just MITB if its a decent price otherwise look to AEW when they come to London.

Absolutely fecking ridiculous prices. Literally even the nose bleed seats were way overpriced.
I’m paying less to get a decent view at Wrestlemania. Miss the days where you could turn up to the 02 on ticket sale day and buy a front row ticket for raw for £50….

Funny you bring up wrestlemania. I've seen some packages where flights, hotel and mania were about the same price (750 or 800) for this.

I used o2 priority out of curiosity (as I will still go if I can get cheaper tickets near the time or just for mitb) but I have a feeling a lot of tix were picked up by scalpers.

Hopefully people don't pay over the odds
