I’m happy they lost, but are some of you lot wanting them to fall apart in the league? And City win three in a row?
What a game! Unfortunate outcome but I think Arteta managed it as best he could with the league in mind. I just hope the wheels don't fall off from here as this can be a big psychological/emotional blow esp with the drama of crashing out on penalties. I wasn't confident with our young squad going to penalties and I was proved correct.
That second half was our worst this season. Now we get to count the cost if potential injuries we racked up.I can't work out if that was the worst we've played 2nd half or Sporting were 1 of the best teams we've played 2nd half.
