The user you responded to supports Brentford, local and current league table rivals. He wants Fulham punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Still quite incredible to see how much Fulham fecked up their own European Chances over something that wasn't the slightest bit contencious.

Mitrovic will defo get more than 3 games probably 4 or 5 games.

He bullied us before his red.

He is good enough for a top 4 side.
He's a really specific type of striker. Doesn't create anything for himself he completely relies on services.

His main attribute is his physicality but he's not technical enough to be starting for a top team. We should aim for way better. The purple patch he had at the beginning of the season makes his stats looks good, but today was just his second goal since the winter break.

Also he's 28 and will be 29 at early next season, so he's not going to improve much.

I wouldn't want to sign someone like him even if he were a better player than he is. He's a liability

Mitrovic is a baby compared with his very first start in Newcastle, he was mild with no incidents till this moment of madness i believe.

Agreed. Also his technical ability is pretty average, needs multiple touches to control the ball. A decent striker with his strengths but definitely not top 4 quality.

I have to say he probably said something in the line of famous Balkans curse words by the way he was going. I think croatian, bosnian and serbian part of the CAF would agree. But there are cameras and it has to be proved beyond reasonable doubt.

I'd say 5 game ban for shoving the ref, they might make an example out of him and go 7 to 9 games instead though. You can't really have that to be honest, it already happens enough at lower league levels, going soft on it in the PL will give nutters an excuse to assault the ref for 'just' a 3 game ban.

Apparently threw a bottle at/towards the 4th official + said something..
The fourth official asked the ref to send Silva off.

Before we jump to conclusions, has anyone checked if his mum is a slag?

Amidst all the memes and such, you cannot have what happened on the pitch from Mitrovic yesterday. That was absolutely unacceptable. Bad enough to get the red but his reaction afterwards was extremely aggressive and miles out. They will throw the book at him because they will have to, otherwise any ref is fair game to go after in that manner and you just cannot do that.

I'm still mystified at their reaction yesterday, the most blatant handball - red card you will ever see and I genuinely don't recall another meltdown like that from another team we have played. Crazy.

It all started with that utter clown of a manager, Marco Silva losing his top. That immediately permeated to everyone else on the field to think that they have somehow been terribly wronged. I'm sure when Mitrovic went back to look at the replay, he'll wonder why the feck the manager flipped out to start the melt down.

Agreed, people comparing the Fernandes push on the lino to what Mitrovich did are completely missing the point. You feared for the referee's safety at one point, without being restrained I don't think he'd be playing in this country again, he had the look of a man that was about to do something very, very silly.

I agree, the players stepping in looked like they potentially stopped him from himself doing something even more regretful. He looked like a man possessed. Silva patting him on the back afterwards was disgraceful too, I was disappointed he completely kopped out afterwards too refusing to talk about the players behaviour or anything, but I suppose he probably couldn't after he was stupid enough to be sent off too. Whole thing was very unsavoury from Fulham. If I supported them I'd be fuming with the manager and Mitrovic.

Apparently, Fulham were angry that this wasn't given as a penalty (not the Martinez/Mitrovic one that was actually a foul for Martinez).

50-50, could've given it a penalty tbh if he was getting to the ball.

I remember Di Maria was sent off when he was with us for similar. Cant remember the opponents but pretty sure Michael Oliver was the ref.

Edit: having watched it back it was no where near as bad as Mitrovic's and the oppo was Arsenal

I have a bit of sympathy of him to be honest. Imagine being a foot taller than Martinez and being in his pocket all game long. Not being able to outmuscle or outpace a dwarf, not being able to have space to breath for 60 minutes must've taken its toll on him.
He looked pretty good to me. Proper centre forward, his tempermant is the only thing that will hold him back from ever going any higher.

Yh it was when he pinged his shirt wasn’t it and Oliver gave him such a funny look.

The issue with this one is people are like ‘it’s just a shove’ but the ref backed off. Mitrovic was coming forward and being aggressive after the shove. They’ll make an example of him and give him 6 games or something I think.
