Dominate Sevilla for 70 minutes, countless shots and dangerous attacks but nothing clinical --> barely 2 goals.

Sustain 15 minutes of pressure --> braindead defending for 1 goal and countless last gasp stops

We're fighting on too many fronts and we just don't have the squad for it.

Cruising to absolute disaster in 20 minutes.

2 own goals, Bruno yellow card, Martinez injured. Not much is going our way at the moment is it?

Missing chances for 3-0, both centerbacks getting injured so we finish with 10, two own goals to bottle what should've been a comfortable win... Hate to see it.

We'll win it next week anyway. But annoying as feck.

Three parts of absolute shit today, ref, united and sevilla.

So many players from our side that was absolute wank after 40 mins.

Stick a fork in our season, it's done. We're not winning in Seville and we're not getting top 4.

Got what we deserved from that 60 minute feckless, brainless shitshow.

Sancho and Malacia absolutely wretched players. Maguire comes on and does his best Maguire impression.

Martinez out for the season at the very least. Varane out. Shaw out.

Season over.

This result is on Ten Hag. Ridiculous subs, bringing on non entities like Elanga and Weghorst invited Sevilla on as they didn't have to worry about defending after that.

Plus all the subs left unable us to replace Martinez. Poor, poor decision.

The team that started the 2nd half should have been left on until we were 3-4 up. They were there for the taking.

Absolutely disastrous last 60 minutes. Two starting CB injured, two own goals and Fernandes to miss the second leg. Going to be real fight in the second leg.

feck Sevilla. The plot armour they have in this fecking competition is absolutely ridiculous. How fecking lucky can you get? We hit the inside of the post, lose two centre-backs to injury and concede two own goals... they created what, one actual chance in the entire game?

Jesus fecking Christ I'm angry. We're obviously out - I know it's never going to happen in professional football but I'd rather just forfeit the second leg, take the 3-0 loss and be done with it. There's no chance we're beating these jammy, playacting, timewasting, shithousing thundercunts in the Europa League.

AAAAARGH.

Everything went wrong after Maguire came on second half, it's the curse of his captaincy.

Two lucky goals but we were asking for trouble. Dreadful second half. We can still beat them in Seville though.

Editing my own posts.
The amount of times this season we just piss about once we've got a lead and play like we're 4-0 up is ridiculous. We aren't good enough to do that. Combined with Ten Hag's frankly ridiculous (and rather arrogant tbh) substitutions, and we brought all of this bollocks on ourselves really. Idiots.

2 own goal, Martinez out, Varane out and so much shitness in one game. I have never seen so much bad luck in one game.
Don’t get Ten Hag. Now you change Fernandes, when he is out next game.

We always seem to find a way not to beat them. Their goals were flukes but we invited them back into the game and brought it upon ourselves.

Will be a depleted team in 2nd leg so the curse may well somehow continue.

Two shitty own goals conceded to keep them in the tie.

No way we’re going through at their place with their shithousing tactics, no Fernandes, Martinez and god knows who. I hate these bastards with a passion.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at the sheer bad luck. Varane, Licha down with no physical contact, Bruno booked for absurd tackle, 2 own goals. Playing last 10 mins with 10 men.

ETH walked across a black cat, while under a ladder, indoors with an open umbrella.

That is pretty much how we roll though - thats not exclusive to this game.

No surprised we messed that game up with the team that ended the match. 2nd leg will be even harder without Bruno and it being away. Can see them knocking us out again.

Two ridiculously unlucky goals to concede even if Malacia was terrible for the first. We should have had 4 or 5 at that stage. We should be beating them in the return they’re fecking terrible. But we will have neither of our first choice centre backs.

I honestly have no words. How we’ve gone from playing so well to make it 2-0 to that is just baffling.

Hell awaits us in that second leg. Injuries will have major implications for the rest of the season too.

Very tough one to take.

We deserved to win, but the subs killed our attack and we could have gone for 3-0 instead.
