That's his first name, sure he went by that at Arsenal for a bitOn Bet365 his name was shown as Damien

Brothers and sisters are natural enemies. Like Argentinians and Bruno! Or Brazilians and Bruno! Or Brits and Bruno! Or Bruno and other Brunos!Get the feeling Bruno and him detest each other, as does MacAllister and Bruno.
We would all buzz off his theatrics if he played for us.Oh well why not. I detest his theatrics but he is better than Dave.
Yeah, they make out like we're going to sign a dozen players this summer! I know they're only rumours but some of them are stinky as feckLittle tip for people, when the tweet throws United’s name into a list of 3+ clubs, it’s not genuine interest
Yeah that part of his game isn't disputedMentality monster. Need more of them in our squad.
He is better than De Gea in pretty much everything.Wouldn't be anywhere near an upgrade to Dave.
He's clearly a much better keeper than De Gea. Though not exactly my first choice to replace him.Wouldn't be anywhere near an upgrade to Dave.
If he was, he wouldn't be at Aston Villa. He is better than De Gea in pretty much everything.
He's more commanding of his box, I''ll give him that. In terms of shot stopping, I would go with Dave. He's clearly a much better keeper than De Gea. Though not exactly my first choice to replace him.
Cannot argue against that. I guess you also agree that Martial and Weghorst are better than Ivan Toney. If he was, he wouldn't be at Aston Villa.
Not in keeping clean sheets. He is better than De Gea in pretty much everything.
I don't think there's a whole lot in it in terms of distribution or shot stopping. Martinez is much more commanding though, as you say. He's more commanding of his box, I''ll give him that. In terms of shot stopping, I would go with Dave.
Martial has been injured most of the year. Weghorst is a loan. So, a pretty limited analogy. If Martinez was top 4 caliber, he would still be at Arsenal.Cannot argue against that. I guess you also agree that Martial and Weghorst are better than Ivan Toney.
From all possible arguments, I think that is the worst one. Clean sheets are something that the entire team achieves, not the superhero keeper. I some of De Gea's best seasons, he didn't win golden glove for example, cause he had meh defenders ahead of him.Not in keeping clean sheets.
Be that as it may, you haven't made any convincing arguments as to why Martinez would be head and shoulders better than De Gea. Did his falic hand celebration impress you that much ?From all possible arguments, I think that is the worst one. Clean sheets are something that the entire team achieves, not the superhero keeper. I some of De Gea's best seasons, he didn't win golden glove for example, cause he had meh defenders ahead of him.
Yeah it’s a team effort but ultimately the GK defends the goal and getting 16 clean sheets in the season is impressive. Especially as we have been up and down with our defence and on the end of some big defeats. From all possible arguments, I think that is the worst one. Dude, VDS was playing for Fulham at 34. I guess you would have argued back then that he is not top 4 material, right?Martial has been injured most of the year. Weghorst is a loan. So, a pretty limited analogy. If Martinez was top 4 caliber, he would still be at Arsenal.
We're not talking about VDS here. But since you brought it up, he was already a successful keeper at a top club before Fulham.Dude, VDS was playing for Fulham at 34. I guess you would have argued back then that he is not top 4 material, right?
We can argue if he is good for top 4 (I think he absolutely is), but just cause he is in a team in the seventh place, that by itself doesn't mean much.
Saying that playing for Villa makes him a worse keeper is equally unconvincing.Be that as it may, you haven't made any convincing arguments as to why Martinez would be head and shoulders better than De Gea. Did his falic hand celebration impress you that much ?
He is far better in the air, one of the best in the world. He has a commanding presence and leadership abilities that make the defenders more comfortable playing with him. He is an annoying twat which makes the opposition loses their nerve. He is at least as a good shot-stopper as De Gea if not better (of course, peak De Gea was a far better shot-stopper). He is a better sweeper than De Gea. He passes the ball better than De Gea. He is better at penalties than De Gea.Be that as it may, you haven't made any convincing arguments as to why Martinez would be head and shoulders better than De Gea. Did his falic champagne bottle celebration impress you that much ?
Costa would seem to be the right guy at this stage. A decade younger and much better long term potential. He's a better keeper than De Gea right now. Still wouldn't want him.
But I never said he was worse. Just that he wouldn't be a gamechanging upgrade to what we already have.Saying that playing for Villa makes him a worse keeper is equally unconvincing.
