The behaviour towards him by Spanish fans is despicable. I think he'll leave Real soon enough and Tebas will go on crying because of pointless issues like superclubs, rather than focus on the bigger social problems. Terrible organization.

He needs to leave la liga and come to England, he’d love it here given he won’t be racially abused every five minutes.

I’m surprised any player of colour would want to play in Spain or Italy, these leagues are living in the past with their hooligan fans, no wonder broadcasters don’t want to pay for their games and then the leagues cry about how EPL gets so much more TV money .

He can go anywhere but not to United please.

and he Will have similar polemics in the UK, give it time. He has a provocative style, but instead Of showing himself on the pitch, he tends to victimize himself.
Its not a coincidence that it always happens to Vinicius.
What a post.

I don't think the reason the Premier League is worth more than La Liga is their relative issues with racism.

Because a human being is being abused based on how he looks and you only care if it means united can sign him because of it.
Throughout the years I have seen many players get abused by posters on this forum based on their looks, and nobody seems to care about it at all. Luis Suarez, Francis Jeffers, Rooney, Dirk Kuyt, Anthony Gordon, Tevez, Peter Crouch come to mind.

Don't forget Luke Chadwick.

I also remember a large section of Old Trafford singing "You've got a pineapple on your head" (to the tune of "You've got the whole world in your hands") to Jason Lee one time. Seemed funny at the time but apparently that sort of thing contributed to him having mental health issues, so maybe not so funny in retrospect?

Carlo Ancelloti is a real one. Always has been. Absolute don.

@IFC 1905 is a pathetic creature and should have no place on this forum spitting their bile.

The Premier League has had its issues but it’s light years ahead of La Liga on racism and it’s disingenuous to suggest otherwise.

Sad to see what's happening with Vinicius. And that statement from Tebas is sadly reaching Marjorie Taylor Greene levels of stupidity and ignorance. Great to see Ancelotti really standing up for his guy.

Between the horrible normalized "racism" in Spain and the toxic atmosphere created by the Barca/Madrid culture wars, that league is just not place for him. He needs to leave and only the Pl can afford him. I'd gladly take him off Madrid's hands

And for the mental midgets that argue that he's the one creating it, isn't it funny how he has no problems in the Champions League or World Cup?

How pathetic and low can this post even be?

While the situation is not perfect yet, the UK has had crackdown upon racists in recent years now. I see racists being formally identified within a day and then getting promptly banned out of stadiums for life in the UK. Have you seen anything against such behavior in Spain? I have watched football for 25 years and I promise you this: Spain and Italy are in the same gutter as Russia these days when it comes to open displays of discrimination in stadiums.

Yep. I just can't believe that the top ranking official of LaLiga can come out with stupid shit like that, especially when Leonardo Bonucci already looked like a cnut for not defending his own teammate, Moise Kean a few years ago.

Great respect to Carlo for calling it like it is. He has to feel exasperated to see mentalities not changing one bit in some places.

The non-black Spanish players should really show some solidarity with Vini here. As well as the big 2 teams. It’s disgusting. Didn’t Luis Aragones whilst he was the Spanish NT manager give some disgusting racist abuse towards some black players?

@IFC 1905 posts are quite telling because they show you exactly how black players or people in general are viewed by a significant number in countries like Italy and Spain.
Basically if you’re black, stay in your lane, know your role. Don’t show any personality, don’t be provocative, don’t celebrate goals, don’t react to anything. If you do any of the above, expect racist abuse. The other black players who happen to not do any of these things will not be racially abused, which tells you the problem is the before mentioned black players. That is basically the mentality in these nations.
That’s why you get the constant victim blaming. It’s imbedded in them that black folk are inferior and have to behave in a certain way and essentially shouldn’t step out of line. They are aware racist abuse is wrong but they don’t hold any sort of empathy for the person abused because they can’t relate to that person and they see that person as inferior. You know there’s a gigantic problem in your countries with racism when anytime a footballer gets racially abused, leading professionals in the game react with either of the following
A) He was provocative
B) he shouldn’t have reacted
C) other black players don’t get abused

@IFC 1905 is Argentinian who themselves have a horrid history with regards to black people -

I can't remember why I joined this war.
Did I read this right? Are we now blaming Vinicius for being abused? Jesus
Yes, he is too flashy as a player and isn't humble enough to get be accepted in a white country. This has always been the way for black be people, be meek and know your place and if they are lucky they will be left alone, but if you dare to stand out and be proud of your accomplishments as a BPoC you're going to make a lot of enemies real quick. And if you call out people on their racist bullshit, they act all hurt and will blame wokeness run amok.

Really rate him highly, probably among top 5 player from the new generation (behind Haaland and Mbappe).

However LWF is probably the position with our least urgent need of new reinforcement, as we already have our best attacking player (Rashford) and best young player (Garnacho) playing there. So even if he decide to leave La Liga, there’s no way we should be looking to buy him.

Being too uppity is the correct term
Act normal or something. Be quiet and don't draw attention to yourself.

Yeah apparently there have never been dickheads that are Caucasian, yeah this is clearly a woke matter.

The state of some people. If you are not feeling ashamed as a human after watching this, one needs to have a hard look.

What you think he a bit "uppity?"
Want to elaborate on this post or just admit that he deserves the treatment he's getting?

It may not be the main issue but speaking as an African, I can tell you it's definitely something that we talk about. The Premier league is a seen as a more accepting league than most other major leagues in Europe and issues like these only further strengthen those views.

No your just making this up it not weird. The first reaction by everyone is being disgusted , Second reaction is why should he be constantly abused and give the lad an out to somewhere where he isn't going to get it. Third reaction is that its not a Man Utd fans problem to sort it, as it would not be a Real Madrid fans issue if it was happening here. Finally "in the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity"
How the feck do you know that the first reaction by everyone is being disgusted? Plenty of posters have said no such thing and their first reaction has been about signing him.

I'm sure you're right about Sub-Saharan Africa but a pretty large amount of the broadcast money comes from countries I think probably take anti-black racism even less seriously than Spain.

Why is it strange? He said that he was repeatedly racially abused in Spain. We cannot do anything to change Spain. But we can use this to sign him. And this is nothing new, teams do anything they can do to get players to become unsettled and make it easier to sign them. If he is really unsettled at Real, if it is not us it will be someone else who signs him.

Real stole Ronaldo from us. Vinicius is one of the top talents today, we should do everything we can to get players like this. And there are not many of them available (see De Jong case last summer).
To me it’s just a weird reaction to someone getting racially abused. Not the first thing that comes to my mind. To each their own.

What a sad state of affairs. When the association and the media are tacitly supporting the behavior, it isn’t likely to go away anytime soon.

Hope for Vinicius that he finds a place to play where he doesn’t have to put up with this crap.
