Hiring and running the police is a devolved matter. The SNP are responsible for the police. Nobody else.

Along with her husband Mr R C Nesbitt, she has been accused of stealing party funds to pay for their buckfast addiction.
Police have apparently seized a luxury RV at Sturgeon’s husband’s mom’s house, suspecting it’s been bought with campaign funds.
Well it definitely was bought with campaign funds since they marked it as a campaign battlebus, but forget to tell anyone else they'd bought it.
That happened two months ago - unless she went and bought another one to replace the original one with as she seems stupid enough to do that
although SNP will play this as the English trying to feck over the Scots again no doubt

No, they've been playing the "we dont talk about on going police investigations" greatest hits album for months now. But, theres lots of angry English who for some reason take Scottish independence as a personal insult and will make up any old shit to spread the message that the SNP is bad. Which is weird, but there it is. Some very angry people on the internet over something that has nothing to do with them.
Lots of angry Scots as well. Angry at having a one issue party in government who are useless at everything else, including staying above the law with their own finances and membership claims.
We’re probably more angry that the other parties that could represent us are an absolute shambles too. Sad state of affairs in UK politics.

Well, thats because that one issue is all the SNP are for. They are not independence, they are the tool to get independence and then they will no doubt disband. The point of independence isnt to feck the English, or anything else someone might have made up in their head to make it ok to be a bigot. The point has always been about being able to choose our now destiny. Being free to succeed on our own terms, and yes, being free to fail on our own terms too. Right now we have a Westminster government that is in the most polite terms I can muster, a shit show. And yet, it's 10 years plus of this for dumb reasons like "look at how this guy eats a bacon sandwich!!!!!!!!!!". Sorry, but we want to be able to hold our elected officials to account and bin the cnuts when they show who they really are. Right now, we are at the whim of the English, and they seem content to let the shower of evil cnuts continue on with the message "great job" as everything around us crumbles or grows exponentially more expensive.
The SNP aren't the greatest of all time. They aren't anything more than a political party, and they are everything that comes with that. Good and bad. But its funny how when its the SNP its so bad they should be disbanded, but when its tories, its not the time to make snap judgements. We have to take our time to investigate what's happened...
If they have done something wrong, I want them held to account. Can tory voters say they same about the likes of Boris who did things like shutting down the commons for 5 weeks before the Brexit deadline, fought against feeding kids during lock down, said "let the bodies pile high" because he didn't want to go into lock down(because his rich business mates didn't want it), had to be forced to self isolate after coming into contact with someone in his staff who had covid, tried to rewire the rules over lobbying in order to get his buddy off the hook, went to a hospital and refused to wear a face mask, and of course the infamous flat where he was caught red handed offering political favours to someone to pay for it. Seems it's one rule for thee but not for me a lot of the time.
What a load of shite, the SNP have done wonders with all of the devolved services.
Oh, wait. Police don't turn up to solve crimes anymore, you can wait for six hours in an A&E with what might be a broken hand and then talk to a doctor who suspects you're dodgy and want pills to sell, overcrowded schools that have poorly trained teachers - and no expansion of any of these services whilst building thousands of more "affordable" houses that nobody except landlords can afford. Hundreds of millions spent on ferries that don't work, trams that are too big for their tracks, fecking historical and protected bridges casually torn down because the train line they're building under it needs to have more space. Radio silence or total lies whenever they're criticised for poor decisions.
But, hey, flag waving independence freeeeedum oil revenue air turbines blah blah blah. Anything to distract from how they've turned the country into a shithole. Looking back on it; Gordon Brown was right when, back in university, he intentionally bumped into my dad and muttered "feck off, you Tartan Tory".
Labour are unlikely to win a GE without Scottish constituencies so Scotland is as much at fault as the Tory voting English for the successive conservative governments.
