Whoever wins is going to have the most insufferable, crowing fans on Twitter until the start of the season. I didn’t realise this match was as soon as this Saturday.

Henderson and Elanga travelling is … frustrating.
Henderson is a ploy to get Forest to up their offer. The club is bluffing putting pressure on Forest to quickly increase the offer thinking TH might keep him if he plays well.

Please just win. Pre season or not these fecking goons will be insufferable if they get a victory. They’ll all be flapping their gums about how Arteta’s going to lead them to a quad.

Surprised Forson made the squad. ETH clearly sees something in him. Nice to see Gore make the squad following his good performance against Lyon. The rest of the squad was as expected (maybe Kovar not making squad a bit surprising).

A pre-season workout, nothing more. A win is not nearly as relevant as getting in quality minutes for players on the bubble.

And I hope they do. Makes the end of season “Let’s laugh at Arsenal” thread that much more sweeter

They are already ahead of us in pre-season prep and have been in the US for a while. I wouldn't want to focus on the result much but we could end up losing since it would be the first run out for many folks.

They'll be many moaning and AFTV are probably recording a music video as we speak.

Hopefully the mods slap a couple bans on people for getting silly

It's a preseason. It's about minutes in the legs. Doesn't matter about the result really and anyone that uses an early preseason match as a barometer is thick

Of course the result doesn’t matter and it’s all about fitness but that won’t stop Arsenal fans hyping themselves up to no end. It’s just what they do.

We gonna see the midfield trio we’re expected to start the season with? Mount, Casemiro and Bruno.

Looks like it. Double pivot if this tweet is anything to go by.

Possibly for half the game.
I will be interested to see Mainoo, Hannibal and Gore, if they get the opportunity, perform against Arsenal's midfield, but realistically we'll probably see the more senior players getting a run out.

Doubt the social media people have a clue what ETH tactics are.

Chance to lay down a statement ahead of the new season. Lose this and questions will start to be asked.
Which will be swiftly answered with "it's fecking pre-season, pull yourself together"

I guess they'll be wearing their neon yellow spaghetti confection since we haven't released our new away shirt yet?

When are we likely to see the senior players play like 70 mins?

All pre season games are always on MUTV. This one you can also watch on arsenal.com.
Yeah I’d forgotten that I’d still got an active subscription until I saw the Lyon game was on.

I honestly find the “biased” commentary a breath of fresh air having endured so much that is blatantly ABU from the supposedly professional mainstream broadcasters.
