Playin a young CB is better than playing Maguire. I'd be fine if that was the only mistake so far (have to adjust expectations to Maguire) but it wasn't even the first one and he's playing against players one level below him!

I'm liking the shift Eriksen and Donnie are putting in. Much more lively than I expected from either. Also kinda cool to have two Ajax lads next to each other.

Eriksen fails to beat the first man far too often for someone with his quality.

Level below him?

Oh well, he need confidence. Not a United shirt.

Miss aside, Sancho has played well. Picked out some nice passes and has made some nice space finding runs.

Maguire needs to leave for his own benefit. He looks like he’s playing football with a live hand grenade anytime he’s passed the ball.

He needs a clean break & a team that suits his attributes. Shame it’s not worked out, he’s always worked hard to play well for the club but he really doesn’t suit the way the team is evolving.

Pellistri has such a great close control while running with the ball.

Maybe West Ham could give us 27m for this defender? Would be a good deal

Sancho looks sharper than normal lately. Let's see when the real thing starts next week. All he just needs is aggression and directness in his game.

It looks like he's finally sorted his physique out to look as sharp in his movements as he did in his Dortmund days.

There was a time he was on the halfway line in space with the ball and literally just turned around with it and it was still faster than I saw him move all last season. The crowd actually cheered it as well.

No way Westham is signing him after this match. Well.. we just have to deal with this whenever he plays.
